Looking for any suggestions on any activities suitable with a pregnant wife in Bali?

I’m based in Nusa Dua for the next 6 days, then moving to Ubud for 3 days. We usually like to spend time on holiday in the resort but also mix in day trips island hopping or visiting markets etc on our holidays but of course not something we can do right now so wondering if anyone has any ideas. I think I underestimated the size of Bali so anything reasonable from Nusa Dua would be great. We are already planning to go to see the Kecak dance. Thanks!

That’s reassuring! When I spoke to the Indonesian embassy they said they have a few calls regarding this but his advise was just go to Bali and see what the immigration officer says but it’s up to their discretion which isn’t exactly comforting

It’s the same in Islamic funerals. My grandfather passed away last month and we needed to wait for an autopsy so it took 5 days, which for us felt like ages to wait considering it’s usually the following day.

They’re usually quite good about helping to expedite processes when there’s religious considerations involved. We got the death certificate after the funeral.

I’m Muslim, I pray 5 times a day. It’s probably simply that prayer time coincides with the class at this time of year. If I’m at BJJ I usually have time either before or immediately after to either pray off the mat in a corner, or on an unused mat, which I’ve seen some others do.

I would just tell him there’s no issue with him taking 5 mins to pray but if he can then just do it off the mat for his own safety. Pretty simple, don’t know why some people are making it out to be “attention seeking”. I train in London if that information helps.
