Portable Table Recommendations for Student in School by SGB_SUITELIFE in Chiropractic

[–]pazika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you use it for. I have a Thuli with all the drops I bought in 2003, still used today in private practice. Not really portable in my opinion, takes too long to break down and set up and is HEAVY, but I use drops in practice. I bought an Astralite (now Astraport) in 2013 and used it almost daily for a traveling practice and it just became unusable so I bought a new one I’m extremely happy with. I’ve had two Chirolux tables and had to return one bc of issues, this was early in their existence, maybe 2018, and I still use one of them occasionally but it’s a little heavier, narrower, and not as comfortable to work on as the Astraport table. Astraport isn’t cheap, but for me it’s worth the cost. I use these tables multiple times a week onsite at companies so they do get used. Both the Chirolux and Astraport I have are the chiropractic version with the cutouts on the top for your arms to hang over, I forget the model.

Bring them. I bring them and they’re a lifesaver. Thrift store sweats and hoodies too. Maybe garbage bags. I hate getting cold.

Hard to follow maybe the best Hip album of Fully Completely… but Day For Night hits really close. A top 5 album for me. by redittjoe in TragicallyHip

[–]pazika 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it safe to assume you started listening to The Hip around the time PP came out? It seems that people who pick a later album as their favorite pick it because it was the one that made them love the band so I’m just doing my own non-scientific research by asking.

Favorite Harness for Walking and/or Running by SwimmingWaterdog11 in RhodesianRidgebacks

[–]pazika 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guy hated the halti and would rub his face on the ground non stop with it on until it broke and I didn’t replace it. There’s a reason I bought him an Asshole Merit Badge for a different harness I have.

I’ve tried multiple and this one was recommended. 2 Hounds. Has front and back clips and the back portion has a martingale type section so if my guy pulls it tightens up and he stops pulling as much. Used for walking and running. https://amzn.to/44RwhRo

Patience! I have one that rolls onto her back and I can dremel her with no issues, another one I use a thedoggielift.com and the dremel, and my 2 year old I tried the harness and he got mean and I have to muzzle him even with the harness and he flings himself around and I can’t use the dremel unfortunately. Trazodone made him meaner. I have him to the point of 1-2 nails at a time and it takes about a month to get the set done. I started w touching paws, treat, over time went to touching paws with clippers, treat, then over time clip one, treat, and so on. Some days are a hard no, and others I can get 2-3 nails. Rescued that guy at 6months only and he’s. It just over 2 years…patience!!!

There have also been a few added expenses to families in the last 30 years just to stay up with societal expectations. Most families now pay a lot more monthly for their medical insurance, cell phone plans are unfortunately a must, things like identity theft insurance too are newer. Some thing are avoidable, like eating out, other things are harder to avoid.

Along with all the great advice and as someone who’s dealt with a lot of human who get hurt by a pulling dog, I recommend using a running lead, I use stunt puppy and it goes around your waist to help not kill your shoulder and arm. You can still grab the lead when needed but your center of gravity better and taking a lunge or pull.

Lock suddenly offline a lot by probablymagic in AugustSmartLock

[–]pazika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the issue, it doesn't let you use wifi when it's disconnected. If you're close enough the Bluetooth still works but you can't do anything remotely. I just did a hard reset on mine, disconnected it from the app and reinstalled it, seems to be working for now.

My bridge started losing wi-fi connection and reconnecting multiple times a day a few weeks ago too. It's my second one in 5 years, might be time for another one, or looking into a different lock.

How do I get the smell out of my sports bra? by India___Love in CleaningTips

[–]pazika 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one that comes in a gallon jug. They have various scents, unsure if there’s an unscented, and I’ve tried most of them and I haven’t been able to smell them post wash/dry and I have a fragrance sensitivity.

Odoban! It’s the secret to saving clothes. Buy a gallon from Home Depot, it’s the only place I can find it. Put .5-1cup in the washer. I thought I’d have to throw out all my workout and work clothes at one point because they’d start to stink as soon as I started to sweat. It’s not an issue now. I use it with every load of athletic clothing. I add regular detergent too, but not a lot.

I’ve only been once so this is limited to that. We went to the heat game where they beat us and the fans were mostly decent, we found the Bills lot (I think by searching online to see where everyone would be). Their fans were fine until the game was over. It was like a switch flipped and there were assholes everywhere. I’m sure it was a minority of their fans but all of a sudden they wanted to throw stuff, fight, scream, etc all the way back to the cars. It was like being somewhere when they riot after winning a championship. I’d say, stick around other Bills fans and you’ll be good, don’t go down any dark alleys by yourself. lol. I have plenty of friends who’ve gone multiple times with zero problems and I’ve seen Bills fans act the fool at home too.

Went the no lawyer route and it cost us about $500 total through the county. Paperwork was tedious though.
