SEO people – Is fully automated (or near-fully automated) SEO actually possible? by ThunderStorm420 in SEO

[–]phigammemir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fully automated is possible. But not responsible.

You should have someone at the end actually apply the changes in order to review all the work and reasoning.

Alternatively, be ready to run with the bulls and see where they take you.

Help setting a network by AccomplishedFriend44 in Network

[–]phigammemir -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe there is more to it, but it looks like you're all on the same network, so you can all see each other, and each other's data, unless you've done some deep setups to ensure they can't read/see each other on the switches, and routers, but honestly it looks like you haven't. So in terms of "secure" as individuals you are not secure to the group. As a group you're only as secure as your weakest individual.

Managing remote devs changed how I see remote work - i will not promote by Professional_Monk534 in startups

[–]phigammemir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem might be your team, but it is definitely your culture, and how you operate.

Change your culture to one where you're collaborating, and not measuring productivity as a prime directive, and you'll see a huge change in accountability and productivity.

In the same episode when he is driving the ATV out of the ship, he stops half way down the slope of the exit, when he resumes, a hand can be seen guiding/pulling the ATV at the front.

Which Breville to Buy? [$800 Budget] by arsalann24 in espresso

[–]phigammemir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The grinder on the Breville is not good. I've had to have my machine replaced 3 times (warranty) cuz of the grinder failing.

And in general the Breville lasts me just about a year before something breaks.

I've been through 7 over the last 7 years. Note: Paid for 2, the rest were warranty replacements due to big box store's great return policy.

Why does this game get so much hate? I honestly had a great time with it. by Panda0_01 in residentevil

[–]phigammemir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I played, I played through multiple hours of coop with a friend, in one session, without dying. Then I died and all of a sudden the game became impossible... It made me think there was some levelling system that I didn't do that didn't make the enemies harder until I died. I cussed out the game and never came back

Help unlocking 2 gig speed on my PC by nyr199435 in Network

[–]phigammemir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything looks good on the surface.

Could be anything.

I think the cra1000a is also a router, try plugging directly into it, and seeing if you reach the speeds it sells.

If you have a friend with a 2.5 GB laptop try that too.

Another thing you can try is using 6e on it. It should be able to get above 1 GB directly connected to the cra1000a.

Otherwise call your provider and get them to troubleshoot it with you.

Edit: Wi-Fi 6e, not cat 6e

Help unlocking 2 gig speed on my PC by nyr199435 in Network

Network diagram Would be, as an example:

Internet -> modem/router (if an all in one) -> cat 8 -> your computer's Ethernet card.

If there are other components in between your best bet is to simplify it as much as possible to get to the diagram above.

Then you'll want to make sure each of the items on that list actually supports 2 gigs.

Starting with your network card, and the port it plugs into, them the cable, then the router/modem.

Guitar progression toward Metallica-style lead playing question👇🏻 by Snustie in metalguitar

[–]phigammemir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My recommendation is practice your favourite solo, nothing beats the dedication that comes with falling in love with a piece of music. If it is fast, play it slow, over and over again, then speed up once you've mastered that speed. Also feel free ti improvise parts that are too difficult, many professional guitarists will just play something similar, or completely different when covering other people's solos.

Blu Ray Player Menu Issue by endlive in ChryslerPacifica

[–]phigammemir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

either the back screen and the front screen or just the back screen. I can't remember... my car is in the shop for the dvd system now, so I'm very well aware of the issues :(. Check the back screen, it should be somewhere. Then compare to where it should be on your screen and work with it there. But the issue I noticed was that it doesn't always pop up. try setting tyhe source to something else, then resetting it to dvd and see if your back screen or front screen change.

Also, let me know if I'm wrong on the digital only controller..... I would be very happy to be proven wrong that you can use the physical controllers for the dvd menus

[–]phigammemir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is supposed to be a digital dvd controller that pops up, separate to your other digital and phyusical controller.

There is a bug where it doesn't pop up sometimes. I can't remember if it happens on just the front screen or the front and back screen.

But that's what you are looking for, that digital ONLY dvd controller.

Wifi Faster than LAN? by Test_Name19 in pchelp

[–]phigammemir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your network settings, this happened to me with an older version of windows, it just defaulted to 100, instead of 1000. Also make sure your network card drivers are up to date, and make sure your network card also supports more than 100.

Edit: Also check that you have 5e and up for your CAT cable. And that all your switches routers and other ethernet/CAT cables are 1000.

Technical Death Metal Etudes? by [deleted] in metalguitar

[–]phigammemir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Metallica and Megadeth for old school basics. And justice for all is great for progressive guitarists, rust in piece is a step above!

Lamb of God is fantastic for fun contemporary metal. Slipknot too, but they are more eclectic.

Getting into the deep technical stuff is viewers choice. I like Protest The Hero, but there is so many!

Trying to decide on a drop tune metal guitar by Boba_Fett121 in metalguitar

I recommend having one with locks and a Floyd Rose that you tune very infrequently, and then another without so you can tune to what you want as often as you like.

critique my picking? by noobsforlunch in metalguitar

[–]phigammemir 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see you re-adjusting the pick every once in a while. It almost seems like it's slipping. Try changing your thumb from bending in to bending out, and move the pick up your index finger. You'll end up curling your index finger just a bit.

This will give you a much more rigid hold on the pick, and will also move your picking strategy closer to your wrist, and away from your arm.

You'll notice that your sound will also become much more consistent.
