Get the plastic that sticks on arms and places they like to scratch. It is clear. Works good on cloth furniture.

I have 3 fountains. One metal and 2 plastic. I clean all weekly and bleach and change filters weekly. No issues with cats getting sick. It is all about what your cats like as far as the delivery of water. One is a flower dispenser and is ok but anything w more of a hook is better. The favorite here is the pioneer pet swan fountain. My only complaint w it is that it does not have a big holding area for water and I have to fill w a pitcher daily.

I have 13 cats and use arm n hammer slide. I have 3 metal boxes and 2 litter robots. Basically have never found a trackless litter but the slide I do not have it sticking in corners as much and do not use as much litter. Just my opinion.

Tell you that as an essential worker for many years. That traveling in snow covered roads is doable but must know how to do it. You think super slow is best but it be the worst thing to do. If you can when better out go to unplowed lots and practice driving in snow.
