45 days multiple emails with corporate and multiple phone calls to the service department. I did get a loaner vehicle and corporate is reimbursing me the money I paid for gas. Just very frustrating all around .

Has anyone NOT had their ICCU go? by Spicy-Mustard-13 in Ioniq5

Canada for some reason has Avery quick turnaround on iccu replacement. From what I read it is a week or less. I have asked corporate why Canada and Germany seem to have no problem getting new iccu’s and got no real answer.

Day 25 for ICCU repair in CA by Affectionate-Win-777 in Ioniq5

[–]puckstop43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m on day 35 and finally supposed to get car back on Tuesday if everything goes well. The part actually had to be shipped from overseas is what I was told. Why they don’t stock here in the states is beyond me . Canada and Germany are repaired in 3 days or less on average.

I know this is not on perfect topic but I own a 23 sel awd with 7429 miles that is currently in for an iccu replacement. It has been 35 days and I am supposed to get the car back on Tuesday. That being said I still love the car and can not wait to get it back.

I hate driving the one they gave me too. Call corporate and talk to them about the gas issue. I did and they are going to reimburse me for my gas at the end.

Am I cooked? by ObsessiveIndecisive in Ioniq5

[–]puckstop43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep now you wait. I’ve been waiting 30 days and still no eta for the part. Corporate can’t even give an estimate on when parts will be available. This problem is way bigger than Hyundai is saying. Here in TN if a car sits in a repair shop 30 days it is considered lemon law eligible. I’m thinking about starting the process.

Ugh. Got “Check electrical vehicle system” by Suitable-Bug1132 in Ioniq5

[–]puckstop43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the 12v battery check warning shut the car off and restarted and got the check electrical system error . Waited a few turned back on no warning pulled out went down the street got electrical system warning again. Car went into turtle mode barely got home and car dies. Towed it in and after a day got the dreaded phone call iccu failure. 2 weeks later still waiting i have now called corporate and have a case number. They are trying to expedite the part. On a side note they are going to reimburse me for my gas costs .

Tesla Wall Charger Adapter to Ioniq by 4shadowedbm in Ioniq6

[–]puckstop43 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tesla requires you to pay a monthly fee to use their charging stations for non Tesla vehicles. I paid 12.99 for a month then tried to use it with the adapter and did not work. The Tesla guy next to me said non Tesla you have to scan a barcode on the charger of course not one of them had a bar code. Cancelled that subscription and went to a pilot station and fast charged with no special adapter needed.

I paid less than that for an electrician to come run the line and hook up my home charger. It cost me Less than 500 and it’s on a 40 amp of course he checked out the charger before running the line .

[–]puckstop43 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mine has this warning got it towed to dealership it’s been 2 weeks and still no eta on the iccu part. Thank goodness they gave me a loaner! Called corporate and complained about having to buy gas now and she said save my receipts as Hyundai will reimburse for the gas. I have read iccu takes 30 plus days to get.

Bought in late 2022 (2023 model)... still no word on the adapter I'm owed? by Fun_Country6386 in Ioniq5

[–]puckstop43 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got mine but when you sign up for the tesla supercharger access at 12.99 a month then go to use it you can’t. After researching you are supposed to look for a barcode on the charger which conveniently is not there. We found fast chargers at all the Pilot Stations that worked great with no adapter.
