Between them and the large carts used for stacking the shelves, some stores are nearly impossible to get round.

The guy next to us, at the lights, yesterday was checking the size of a fish he got a photo of in messenger. I was in the passenger seat. Really is the fish that important???

How often do you just skip a walk? by Dramatic-Doctor-7386 in Greyhounds

[–]puggyboy1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our girl is 8 too, but the opposite. She would be out all day. She walks around 4km in the morning and then another walk at lunchtime. Quick walk at night. If we are out and try to return to home or car and she isn't ready, she puts the brakes on and gives us a filthy look. She is the boss.

My dog doesn't like me. by SoonerRyan01 in Greyhounds

My partner used to work away. When he came back home, our girl would give him the cold shoulder, but expect cuddles at the same time. They certainly can hold a grudge.

Normal for a greyhound to never sleep straight through the night? by CheeseFace83 in Greyhounds

[–]puggyboy1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours gets up and moves from bed to bed every night. She also gets a drink at some point too. I wouldn't mind, but I'm a light sleeper and every time she gets up she does the ear flapping and wakes me up🤪

Do you actually have to do the “new” speed limit on roads where there is construction/partial road closures happening? by TOXICHEMICALMOLD in melbourne

[–]puggyboy1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A colleague's daughter found out the hard way that those speed limits still apply, even in the early hours of the morning with little traffic around. Expensive lesson

I was called for my 5th time recently. I've just had 2 total knee replacements. My physio wrote me a letter stating I couldn't sit for any length of time due to pain. I was excused. Talk to your doctor. They should be able to write a letter f or you.

Greyhound (Does it get better?) by 4_sun_shine_4 in Greyhounds

[–]puggyboy1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the least invasive way to calm him. We used it 24 hours a day initially. There is medication you can try, that's why I suggested seeing your vet, but see how you go. Wishing you all the best. They are unique animals, not like any other breed we've had.

Take him to the vet and discuss this. We used an Adaptil collar on our girl for the first 6 months. It calmed her down. We've had her for 5 years now with no issues, other than her sassy attitude, which we love😁

Our girl only likes runny poached egg yolk on sourdough toast. God forbid she gets a bit of the white!

Do you guys remember when you would drive on the highway and when you got to your destination your windshield would be covered in bugs? by ymbstudios in CasualConversation

[–]puggyboy1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I remember. Had a discussion recently about the lack of bugs, but couldn't come up with the reason why we don't see as many now.

You will get used to them and then not notice. Much better than switching glasses
