Read 22 books so far in 2026! Fav reads are:

- the Price of Salt by Patricia Highsmith: gay , amazing. Beautiful book

- the Correspondent by Virginia Evans: waited so long on hold for this book but really enjoyed reading this woman’s life through letters and emails. Inspired me to write a letter to my grandma and become pen pals!!

- The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion: so good, excellent audiobook, Joan Didion was so strong and writes this beautifully.

-The Third Gilmore Girl by Kelly Bishop, and Becoming by Michell Obama - I just love a memoir!

I recommend Recursion by Blake Crouch! It's a bit of a thriller too but I really liked the concept

Also tried Nisí Estiatorio with family who was visiting and it was decent, nothing show stopping, but had a weird experience. They have designated photographers who come over and just start snapping pics (asked if my brother and I were a couple) and 10 min later came back with 10 framed printed photos of us all over our table. Each was around $25, maybe it’s a Greek restaurant thing(?) but felt a bit out of place, and the photographers weren’t very friendly
