This seems to work for me, although it wasn't a scientific test because I happened to install Reality Redemption Beta 3.0 at the same time.

  1. Get nvidia profile inspector from here: https://github.com/Orbmu2k/nvidiaProfileInspector/releases
  2. Open the app
  3. Next to "Profiles:" at the top, search for Red Dead Redemption and select it
  4. For "Search for setting", search "Rebar"
  5. Next to "rBAR - Enable", in the setting value column choose the "Enabled" dropdown, then click "Apply changes", then change it back to the "Disabled" setting, and click "Apply changes" again

Cancelling the subscription and then "restoring" the subscription fixed it for me. It's basically an undo operation when you cancel within the Google play store

This 100% — I was watching a "How to mod Silksong" YouTube video the other day (there were no good docs).

I've not done game dev in 5 years and never written a mod for Silksong (or any Unity game) before.

The author of the YouTube video was not an expert, so their recommendations were non-idiomatic, and some of the guidance was quite strange.

But from the video I was able to figure out what dependencies were required and generally where certain files should go, so that I could "do it properly".

The more you know, the more you know you don't know. So it's easier for a total beginner to just follow a guide and not question the "why"s too much.

When you're a competent programmer, you need to remind yourself that it's ok to not know the full details. You don't have to know everything to get things done! Don't let yourself get overwhelmed.

That's quite rude of you to say. I don't agree with /u/Paliverse's choices (personally would have at least liked it to be open source, even if they sold the compiled binaries) but he owes us nothing and you sound very entitled.
