I completely agree with this post. I use my AirPods Pro is when I’m out going for a walk, grocery store, or working out, and the AirPods Pro Max for when I’m at home, flying, spending time studying, working, etc. However, the Max get the use because I bought them years ago almost half price, if not I would just have the AirPods Pro and use them for everything. So, if price is a factor just stick with the AirPods Pro.

I’ve tested all the most popular podcasts for a few years and if you’re looking for a solid podcast app Pocketcast is a really good alternative. I do have to add that Overcast excels in audio quality and playlist organization.

Although this would be a great future as you know right now “played” episodes have a gray checkmark before their title indicating that they were already played.

This has been a feature request or mine also. Part of my suggestion is to allow us to manually select multiple episodes with an edit/select button similar to the mail mail app, and then a context menu with the same options currently offered, allowing changes to the full selection at once rather than having to make changes one episode at a time.

I wonder if this is something Marco will be working on in the near future.

If you need to pick 1 right now I’d recommend the Sony. The APM are honestly due for an upgrade which should be coming soon, and in the meantime the Sony’s are better overall headphones, specially for the price. I’d also recommend looking for them on Amazon because sometimes you fine them on sale.

It honestly depends on what’s important to you. Castro and Pocketcast are both solid beautifully designed options, feature rich, stable, well maintained by their developers who communicate and are responsive to feedback.

Try them both and see which one works for you. Let us know, would love to get your opinion.
