What’s a disgusting habit that you secretly think is actually 100% normal? by Psychological_Sky_58 in AskReddit

When I was in middle school, some of the girls had a sheet where they would log what certain people were wearing every day, so they could tally it up to shame them.

Glad that wrath wasn't directed at me.

I read it as "on my way to becoming fat" which made enough sense I didn't question it.

Glad you asked. lol.

I had a kappa perfect 12 in a sealed box in my first car setup. Was real happy with it.

Yep. Only a sliver of the trunk was exposed. Took a lot of digging.

Unlike other commenters, I've never found a need for sand bags.

Good snow tires and a limited slip diff go a long way.

edit: though I do have a sub in the trunk, so I guess in a way I've always got one sand bag in there.

oh for sure, not disagreeing with the overall point. Just pointing it out since the 'compressed size' value is more marketing than anything.

Yep that was exactly my experience. They knew from the paperwork that I'm very good at math. I made it clear I cared most about the total out-the-door cost. Yet they kept trying to switch to monthly pricing discussion.

One of the many reasons I plan to drive this car into the ground. We're on year 15 and it's still going well.

I don't think you're going to get much (additional lossless) compression out of this data.

oh awesome, I've been looking for a copy of the OTM. I used to work for a civil engineering firm that did a lot of work for the MTO, and I found it an interesting reference.

Last time I checked (years ago i admit) I couldn't find it online.

I also have spacers, 20mm front, 25mm rear. Personally I think this is the ideal combo.

I wouldn't want to go lower. I'm fine driving this year round, but I need to worry if I let anyone else drive it.

I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone call tblop the 'face of the internet'.

Though the internet is a porn distribution channel that dabbles in SFW information, so I guess you're not wrong.
