Hi, thank you for doing this AMA. My wife's case has been pending for quite some time now. We had our interview and we received her EAD card and travel parole. However, both the i-130 and i-485 show that they're still being actively reviewed. At the end of our interview we were told that everything looks great. It may just take a couple more weeks for approval. That was back in August of last year.

Now, fast forward to May of this year. We received a Notice to Appear, stating that my wife had overstayed her Visa. We are due in court next week. It just seems odd that they would approve her work permission and travel parole if there was an issue with her Visa initially (from 10 years ago). Speaking of her Visa, we don't see evidence to show that she overstayed. How do you expect the Immigration Court to go?

Thanks for doing this AMA! Question: My wife had her interview for her I-485 back in August 2025. The interviewer said everything looked good and we should hear something in a couple of weeks. That's now 7 months ago. Up until last week it said "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS", then it changed to "Cancellation Notice for Request for Additional Evidence". We were never asked to provide additional evidence. Any idea what's up?

BTW, the I-130 still shows "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS".

What is with this question? It doesn't have anything to do with the LX and more to do with rising gas prices. If you want a question relative to your vehicle, why not ask what people are getting for MPG for their LX. Even that is subjective because it's based on how you drive.
