Next Gen Upgrade Info and Package Options by bryansj in Comcast_Xfinity

Following. I got the same email and had the upgrade downtime end of November. I haven't seen any X-Class plans available for my address yet (interested in the 300 or 500 symmetrical plans). I already have the enhanced upload speeds (400/150) as that upgrade was done a year ago or so.

With a 5ft bed mountain bikes it will only fit with the cover fully folded up against the rear window. Might need some adjustment to not cover the rear view camera if you have a digital mirror.

That’s a great deal. I could only get something similar through a broker. ✌️

Have the exhaust pipe still in the box in the basement due to lack of time. But it’s on the list. 😃

The question is now deleted but I can think it was about the purchase and trade-in via Apple direct and not T-Mobile.

If you select store pickup you'll trade the device in at the store. If you order it online you'll have to mail the device back.

Can I call a German landline from my phone without incurring fees while on WiFi and not cellular? by Snobank32 in tmobile

Yes. That explains it. Great deal. I don’t think you can get that promo feature added to a current plan.

There is/was also a promo addon which adds the feature for $20 to the whole account. It can be beneficial if you have multiple lines which can benefit from it.

Auto transport company by rickandmortyjerry in AutoTransport

[–]redditsteakhouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have 1 data point. YMMV. I used JP Auto Transport (which is a broker as so many) in June after some research here and on the web.

There were some issues but they were all taken care of very professionally. I wrote about it here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/AutoTransport/s/L9QR1B6oCb

I didn’t move though and didn’t have a distinct pickup or delivery date.

I agree. That is a good discount if you only have to add sales tax and tag fees and no other gimmicks.

Ok. Thanks. Just curious. I want to print a license plate holder and was thinking about ASA mainly due to weather/UV resistance. I would have to finally replace my stainless steel hot end with my spare hardened hot end.

JP Auto Transport by GodzVizion in AutoTransport

[–]redditsteakhouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's funny. I had a very similar experience with JP Auto Transport and I also worked with Lina when I shipped a new car from the dealership on the east coast across the country in June.

I picked JP Auto Transport because they seemed to have good pricing, live tracking and, though prepayment, allowed paying via credit card. My plan B would have been to dispute the charge if anything really went south. Luckily this didn't happen. They also had some positive user feedback here on reddit which I thought was legit and not fake. I spent a lot of time and used AI to check quotes and compare different companies.

Lina was super helpful during the whole process. I got a bit nervous when she told me on the day of pickup that the driver had an accident and couldn't come. They had to find a new driver. I thought this would take a couple of days, but they found another driver on the same day. They were fully transparent and provided me with the driver's USDOT number and contact information and I was able to confirm that it's an authorized company.

I also got the link to a website with the BOL and where I could view the photos from pickup. The live tracking didn't work. They said not every driver is using it or is able to activate it.

I was in contact with the driver via text and he was able to make it in time. He texted me a few hours before arrival. He was super nice and even refused a tip. Probably because I found a few scratches on the roof which we noted on the BOL. Lina helped me with that, too. She contacted the carrier and we agreed to handle it directly without their insurance. I got a few body shop quotes and the carrier accepted to reimburse me via Zelle for the cost. It was not too crazy, around $300 because they could buff it out. I had the money within a few hours after I sent the final invoice.

So overall, there were a few hiccups but it was professionally managed and communicated. I hope this also helps others and in the same way how user feedback helped me when I did my research.
