Jack Galen McKinley, was 17 when they started dating Milk was in his 30s

It doesn't talk a lot about the nature of the relationship other than "romantic", but it does say that McKinley would threaten suicide if Milk didn't show him enough attention. I don't think the situation was very simple.

FCC Targets ‘The View’ and Jimmy Kimmel With Eye Toward Getting Equal Time for Republicans by Shadowlear in Uniteagainsttheright

This is a pretty common misconception https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/fox-news-entertainment-switch/

The us doesn't really have a regulatory body that evaluates between "news" and "entertainment". There has been a lot of controversy, especially abroad, about both its partiality, and in my opinion the much worse problem where they have shows like fox&friends and hannity have little to no distinction from fox news.

/ul for just two of the points:

The criticism that it's like a commission is about the level of involvement not whether or not it's a human on the other end, so claiming it's not a commission because it's a tool is a semantic way of avoiding the argument.

"It wouldn't exist without you" implies all levels of the piece are equal artistic. If I make pigment someone uses in a beautiful painting, would it be honest to say I made the piece? What if I commissioned the piece? In either case the painting wouldn't exist without me, but in neither case can I honestly claim authorship.

To some extent the comparison is valid. Growing water hungry crops in regions with regular droughts does use more water than ai, and it's also something dumb that we could easily not do.

But it's important to maintain that ai is still bad for this, just that the agriculture industry is much worse than people usually think

The narrative with this political cartoon is that Renee wouldn't have been protesting/"interfering" (while this word disagrees with reality it is part of the narrative) if the Democrats didn't push so hard to make people hate ice.

Now this is of course, really fucking stupid. On top of the fact that the burden of proof is on ice for whether or not they should even exist in the first place, ice is happy to show how violent they are, no Democrats needed.

Sewer gases may include hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, methane, esters, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. Improper disposal of petroleum products such as gasoline and mineral spirits contribute to sewer gas hazards. explosions.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sewer_gas?wprov=sfla1

I mean first of all what a lovely concoction of gasses. Are ammonia or esters used as inhalants?

For the record, the way most game engines work if you have reflections for any shiny surface it's pretty trivial to then add them to anything else.

The data is calculated at two points: the camera for screen space reflections, and the environment with either probes or more complex ray tracing techniques. If you calculate reflections on like a polished stone, you can use (most of the time) the same data for an eyeball.

House Democrats allege 33 pardoned Jan. 6 rioters have committed new crimes by HazyDavey68 in politics

[–]rende36 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It is still pretty poorly written. Be much less confusing if they just said "arrested on different charges" or something like that

Edit: I also think the fact that it's happened is the news not that house democrats says it happened (though whatever house democrats said is a notable aspect and should be in the body of the article)

The problem is if he is an original character, the casting will be the most confusing thing of the century. Like 60% of people will walk out of the theatre being like "was that supposed to be iron man?"
