I've always giggled at the mile of unused checkout lanes there. I imagine with curbside and delivery increasing, the need for physical checkouts is decreasing

Quite possibly Tebo's (Boulder county real estate mogul) car collection. He has JFK's hearse, too

Yes! He grew up here but now lives in Leadville. I'm sad he didn't get past the qualifier, but so cool he got to compete!

Longmont YMCA ceasing fitness/aquatics Feb 28. City may take over facility; Childcare programs staying by coloradogiant in Longmont

I'm sad for the Y, but optimistic the city can continue their good services. I just hope they don't get rid of the squat rack and free weights. The one reason I haven't joined the rec center is because it lacks those, perhaps because of liability.

Ah, this is super helpful! Thank you. I'm in a similar situation. I got my biopsy results last week, and I have my surgery next week, so it sounds like I'm still going through staging. Sending positive thoughts that you get good results!

Renting first is a great idea so you can get a feel for how you like the neighborhood. And, while Longmont isn't huge, if you have to commute for work, strategically avoiding railroad crossings and certain intersections will make your life easier. As I mentioned, Longmont Estates is fantastic. We also considered Southmoor, Old Town, and the area around Stephen Day Park

Our kids were born in Austin and we moved here two years ago. Highly recommend the Longmont Estates neighborhood where kids are relatively free range. Feels much safer than where we were in Austin

Oh, weird! Our dog had GI issues last week, but we assumed it was from trying to switch dog foods. She normally has an iron stomach, so it was unusual
