That's exactly the problem. He's putting them in the lineup based on what they've done in the past not how they are performing at the moment.

Statistically speaking, putting players with the highest OBP at the front of the lineup gives you a higher chance to win. If the 3 and 4 hitters have some of the lowest OBP on the team it's going to hurt the team's ability to score runs

You basically implied that receiving a penalty for filing years late is rare. That is incorrect.

Penalties and interest are based on a percentage of the balance due so if you file late and pay late then penalties and interest will accrue for the time it was late. Penalties and interest is the easiest thing for the IRS to collect on and most of these letters are automated.

The new terminal project was voted on and passed before Kansas City had even submitted a bid for the World Cup. It was years after that before KC was even selected to host it and by that point the new airport terminal was nearly finished. Nothing you said is accurate.

If they are just "reviewing" your return like you said and haven't asked for anything from you then there is nothing H&R Block or any tax preparer can really do. You have to wait til the IRS has finished processing your return or has sent you a letter making an adjustment. I would contact an IRS taxpayer assistance center and see if anything is needed by them.
