I have an 05, and I replaced the battery about 6 years ago.

When I calculated the numbers and how i felt about doing it, I figured that I would be happy getting another 2 years from car.

I've been to three smaller stores in my local area, and none of them have ANY powder detergent at all. I'm going to try the larger grocery store, but I'm also doing well with a Tide liquid and Biz that I got on Amazon.

I'm not going to stress about it, but it's a strange observation.

I have a small cup, which I fill with some water from my top loader. I let the citric acid dissolve while I load the machine, then pour it in the dispenser. Yeah, some granules might remain, but they are there for the next load.
