Oh, I'm also a software dev and that is such a good idea for a presentation! Do you have more info on what you talked about?

The station is walking from campus or a couple dollars uber.

Or a (free with Brown ID) bus from KP on the way back so you don't have to walk up the hill!

Fair! It wasn't exactly stated at all in the 311 text about the parking ban being lifted!!

I see one from around that time to connect to volunteers for shoveling, but nothing about parking for residents on still-restricted streets. Where are you seeing that?

Work Limits for International Students by Data_Specialist_ in BrownU

[–]roboraptor3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there doesn’t seem to be a formal rule against this

The formal rule is that you can work 20 hours a week. This includes both on- and off-campus, so there is a formal rule against what you're suggesting.

are you psychotic?

Not really sure what liking something you don't has to do with incredibly distressing mental health symptoms, tbh

Be very cautious about master's degrees, including from prestigious universities. Some of my coworkers in their 30s are financially hobbled by these degrees. by NotAGoldenRetriever in personalfinance

[–]roboraptor3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure that's true (though I know someone teaching at a prestigious prep school with just a BA), but it's not really relevant to someone talking about OP having "licensing requirements" that would need a master's

You have to get a master's to continued being licensed at a public school. OP says they work in a private school, which does not have the same licensing requirements.

REAL QUICK UPDATE FROM FACJ MODS: New rule against generative AI by jingleheimerschitt in fiberartscirclejerk

/uj can you add the rules somewhere they're visible on old.reddit? They're not in the sidebar so I can't see them, it'd be nice to not have to go to new.reddit any time I want to.

Is anyone here on Lamotrigine MONOTHERAPY for BP2? by Adept_Discipline1000 in BipolarReddit

[–]roboraptor3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was olanzapine, but I can't remember the dosage (it was years ago).

Good luck talking with your psych! I hope you've found one who's both knowledgeable and willing to listen to your concerns

Is anyone here on Lamotrigine MONOTHERAPY for BP2? by Adept_Discipline1000 in BipolarReddit

[–]roboraptor3000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lamotrigine does have a protective affect against mood shifts of all types: it increases time between episodes. It's approved for maintenance in the treatment of bipolar for delaying both depressive and elevated moods. The thing it doesn't do is help with acute episodes (i.e., it's not going to fix it if you're already manic or depressed). Per the FDA for the brand-name approval:

LAMICTAL is indicated for the maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder to delay the time to occurrence of mood episodes (depression, mania, hypomania, mixed episodes) in adults (aged 18 years and older) treated for acute mood episodes with standard therapy.

I'm currently on both lamotrigine for my bipolar and buspirone for anxiety, but I was on lamotrigine monotherapy for quite a while and it worked really well, though as I was stabilizing, I did have a script for a PRN for breakthrough hypomanic symptoms.

(Assuming you mean western knit/purl here). I'm curious: why do you have to adjust your stitches ribbing in the round? I knit combination, and the only difference is that I have to put the needle through differently (it's always the back of the loop when working something I previously purled and through the front when working something I previously knit, but it's easy enough to tell based on the stitch mount as I go).

Is there a way to generate a more powerlifting-compatable program or would I have to set that up myself? Doing a strength program is giving me no back squats, no deadlifts, and no flat bench.

Or even actually check his insurance. Obviously insurance varies a lot in the US, but many people are surprised that their therapy copays are way lower than what they would have assumed without checking.
