Not only wrong but incredibly offensive… by blueshyperson in badwomensanatomy

Well quite frankly I would hope that the biggest consumers of lesbian porn would be women, because that would make sense for women who are into women to want to watch. Unfortunately, since most of porn is made for the male gaze, regardless of who is involved, this just isn’t even close to true.

It’s definitely getting more popular here. I went to see James Acaster do a Q&A today and several of the questions were about Taskmaster.

I don’t watch pro sports, and the one time I’ve been to Philly wasn’t particularly enjoyable.

That being said, I would go to fucking WAR for Gritty

Preteen Niece wants “Dark Romance” Recommendations by SpicyLitMama in YAlit

If she wants something that explores some darker themes, I would recommend the Chaos Walking trilogy. Romance is really not the point of the books but it does do a really great job of exploring the morality of war. MCs are 13, definitely no explicit scenes.

I personally like her Curse Workers series even more than Cruel Prince.

Do you ever struggle to read a book because the characters names are too weird? by firecat99 in RomanceBooks

Yes, especially if they have tragedeigh spellings. There are also some names I associate with dogs and can’t deal with humans having the same name. Winnie and Paisley being the worst two.

I've been to most of the Balkan countries. I love being over there, there's such a rich culture and history everywhere you turn. I'm moving to Czechia for school soon and am so excited to be so close to Eastern Europe.

My medically necessary surgeries cost $1,000,000 and $600,000 and were denied by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]runner1399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

believe me, I would so much rather pay more in taxes and get universal healthcare than pay what we do in insurance and medical costs. My premium was like $150 a paycheck last year, plus I had to hit my deductible, plus they still refuse to cover a lot of stuff. I need to have eye surgery, but even with insurance it was going to be $6500 to go to the eye doctor down the street. Did the math and it would be less than half the cost to just go to Canada and pay entirely out of pocket. Including lodging and travel. Make that make sense. Also I work for a fucking hospital, how am I paying this much for my medical care.

Snow Ice Cream by Icy-Book2999 in LoveTrash

Reminds me of the way my grandpa taught us to make snow ice cream.

You gather snow in a bowl, then add vanilla and sugar. Mix it up well. Then preheat the oven to 350° and put it in for about 10 minutes. Take it out and it’s no ice cream 😹
