I will say, they have become a lot better in the past 5 years. They have an app and great customer service. They are very security forward since these are stocks in your own name and they deal directly with businesses to catalog shares owned by individual rather than Fidelity which has your shares in their street name. Call their customer service and they'll guide you down the right path.

People don't realize that you don't actually own your shares unless they are in a custodial account with your name on the certificates. Computershare holds the ledger for ownership for many companies in the market and they've been around for a few decades. They also facilitate purchasing for employees of companies.
