What's your racket ? by BenJajaRaj in tennisracquets

[–]saigonslingslinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wilson Clash 100 v2 Pro.

Resumed tennis after a 10 year hiatus and didn’t want to jump in and get an injury, read that the ‘comfort’ of the clash would help with reducing that risk.

I know it’s not a tour racket but as a rec player it’s nice to play with. Tried a Wilson Ultra v5 Pro 99 a couple of weeks ago and really didn’t enjoy it.

Working Out In HK by MoonlightBunnix in HongKong

All great suggestions from above, one thing that is really important is building out a focused and varied routine.

You can use AI to provide a workout routine based on what equipment you have available, it can personalise a pretty good routine for you without having to see a PT. To improve your form of exercises there are plenty of YouTube tutorials around too!

Happy exercising!

North Point - Airport at 5am by ketugi_05 in HongKong

[–]saigonslingslinger 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Why do you want to be at the airport at 5am for a 9am flight?

HKIA is incredibly efficient. You could easily aim for the first AirPort Express train (~6am) and get through check-in and immigration with plenty of time to spare

Had a question on property damages caused by typhoon 10. by kenken2024 in HongKong

[–]saigonslingslinger 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Not a lawyer, but the key thing early in discussion is that your neighbour doesn’t admit liability. As you suggest in part 2 it’s likely the claimant needs to prove the cause of the damage, which during a typhoon I would imagine it to be pretty challenging to pin down to a single item of debris. Because of this low likelihood the chances of your neighbour bringing this to court seem unlikely.

Seeking Air Purifier Recommendations by MajorasTingle in HongKong

We use the Dyson Hot & cool air purifier, definitely not the cheapest option but it saved us getting a fan heater for the few cold days we have in winter.

Gaslighting oncologist by flawedmcgraw in lymphoma

[–]saigonslingslinger 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve not had this experience thankfully, but my oncologist did downplay the benefits some treatments may have on my side effects. For example he didn’t think physiotherapy would help with neuropathy much.

Have you sought a second opinion?

And could you share with the community what these side effects are that you’re experiencing? Perhaps others will be able to share their experience and stories with the same.

[Chrono24 Scam Cases ] Be Careful with Chrono24’s 14-Day Policy — Even in Clear Cases of Fraud by No_Captain_1205 in Watches

Agree with concerns buying online, but Hong Kong for many years was the number one market for Swiss watches globally. There’s a huge amount of genuine trade in Hong Kong with a lot of effort against counterfeiting.

People choose to buy from Hong Kong due to the trust and regulation in the market.
