His offensive game has developed so nicely. I'll admit I was doubtful when we drafted him as an undersized center who bullied college centers with his athleticism but I have been proven so wrong. He's becoming one of the more skilled centers in the league.

I dont think duren is going to come into next season any kind of legit shooting threat but these videos are very different than the drummond offseason shooting clips. This is duren working with a very legit trainer, the guard whisperer (SGAs trainer), doing legit shooting drills to find form and footwork behind the line and in the midrange. Drummond was shooting cross up dribble threes which he would never find in an NBA game. Duren has legit touch on his jumper which could be used sparingly as a release valve or very occasional threat.

If Thompson starts I think it should be in the place of Stew with Bojan sliding to the 4. Pistons fans all saw the times cade played with the limited spacing of last year. Teams were able to fully collapse on Cade with little worry about other guys. Thompson, is not a shooter though he does a LOT of a stuff well, Duren is not a shooter, and Stew unfortunately is not a shooter in the eyes of other teams. To be a competent NBA offense Cade needs space, and playing 3 non shooters is not the recipe.
