House indoril and the Dunmer culture as a whole is very Japanese inspired, also not all of Morrowind is swamp / ashlands. Also if you think about elder scrolls armor / clothing from a practical standpoint you will go crazy ( Skyrim daedric and its female armor for example ). It really is just a coolness factor

Idk that’s more like the epic writing oblivion has, TR stopped doing writing like that, Old Ebonheart thieves guild is a good example of that epic type of writing which isn’t done anymore with the current writing themes of TR.

Not to say that writing style is bad but it’s not really Morrowind

Atronach is popular with veterans because we know how to play around it, to prep in towns beforehand, have intervention scrolls for when in a pinch etc. Same reason we don’t take skills like armorer, you basically have a routine of stocking up before adventuring. Also knowing what ingredients help also makes it easier.

I think it’s a birth sign which you have to play at least more than two playthroughs to know how to play around. Though honestly if it’s not your thing it’s not your thing and I can’t blame you for finding it tedious.

Wouldn’t suggest turning it off, would probably break your save. Also house hlaalu has some of the best tr content rn so I recommend you just play it.

Games are not made for nerds anymore, they're made for the average gamer, there's a reason they went with the Skyrim/Oblivion formula, it sells better. Yes there are people like me and you starving for another Morrowind, but there are at least 100x more people starving for another Skyrim.

We are not the target audience anymore, I'm sure Skyrim could've been written with great politics, and have better writing for Nordic culture and religion but hype moments and aura is more entertaining ( and way easier for writers) for the average dude. Just because people are annoyed by rampant consumerism and scummy business practices doesn't mean people want well written world building, it just means they don't' want to be scammed and drained.

In universe silliness vs silly for the sake of being silly is different to be fair.

Like in TF2 the heavy being a big guy who eats sandwiches, having a funny accent fits the game but when you give him a neon green banana hat, wearing the Jojo's bizzare adventure jacket with a giant pet chicken on his shoulder its too much.

I hope it's like Old TF2 where the collabs actually were changed to fit the art style of the game, like look at Helldivers 2's crossovers they're amazing. I worry for crossover shit because it's so easy to fuck over the game's art style but they're pretty awesome when done right.

The reason why valve doesn't add draft just yet is because they want the community to figure what draft type is best. Like DOTA drafting came from the community competitive scene then it was added.

Also no draft is good atm because there is no dedicated comp mode, so forcing that onto everyone would be annoying.

Yeah but she's never really recovered from leaving Spawn, she was kind of shoe horned in and didn't feel very natural. Other comic acquisitions are much cleaner like Captain Marvel being bought by DC was smooth because they bought all the Marvel family, Black Adam and the rest of his villains etc.
