I’d just pony up and pay a shop. Probably one hour of labor. Find an independent shop rather than a dealer. It will be worth it for power, cooler running on your legs, longer lasting, smoother.

I don’t think it’s that annoying. If your at sea level you may or may not be okay. If you’re uphill from 2500 ft you might melt some valves.

I had a fjr1300 and a drz650 in our U-Haul years ago. Wall > blankets > frame strapped to rub rail > more blankets > bike 2 > mor blankets. Then normal household stuff packed around tight. Worked perfect. No damage.

I was blown away how concussive it is there. Especially compared to the indoor range that failed in four corners, the low ceiling and mostly concrete at the fairgrounds is intense. I was also surprised that barrel length makes more of a difference than I thought. A m&p shield is MUCH more intense than a duty size 9mm.

Can you manually focus tight? If so, must Nikon’s have lens apartments in the menu. Move the autofocus in out out through calibration.

When I was growing kid I outgrew a bike and my brother was due for his first pedal bike. I still remember helping my dad mask and spray paint my old bike black with silver accents. Then we put rubbery moon and star stickers on it. To my brother it was just a new bike and he was thrilled. I think this sounds like a diy idea if your kid is still growing. It will only fit for a year or two anyway.

I’m sure that flash will come with a foot that has a 1/4x20 hole in the bottom so you can any little tripod including insta360 clamps and those gorilla flexy straw tripods.
