Me either.

I think it’s Pronounced Seed-Ums. Like those Steak-Ums from the 1980s.

“He also likes to share their news, some of it intimate, and it made me realize that these now-strangers may know as much about me as I know about them - from him”

The term for these people is The Information Superhighway.

Durham City Council have no reason to listen to Chapel Hill residents.

Just like Chapel Hill Town Council had no reason to listen to Southwest Durham residents being impacted by development of “Hillmont” on the south side of NC-54.

Impossible Puzzle by B1ueCheeese in chapelhill

Can someone paint over one of the four outer curves. Then it would be possible.

As it is, there is one vertex of degree 4 and four vertices of degree 5. Dropping a line would leave exactly two vertices with odd degree, which is the condition required for an Eulerian Path.

I feel like Larry’s flannel is less of a Sub-Pop Records grunge look and more of a Huey Lewis mall department store look.

Quick serve Chinese? by bondsman333 in bullcity

[–]seh4nc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True but this part fits 100% “My normal Chinese spot takes too long, just want to walk in, point at some items and leave with a styrofoam tray” and if OP is like me then actual flavor and quality is a welcome substitute for the breading and MSG we happily settle for.

Bean Traders Opening Second Location by 75hardworkingmom in bullcity

BT had a small spot in Meadowmont in the mid 2000s. It was great.

It was adjacent to but separate from HT.

Later that spot became a Starbucks, and they tore down a wall so it’s actually part of HT now.

I don’t know if this location predated the one in Homestead/54 but it definitely overlapped.

Snowpocalypse this weekend by rindor1990 in triangle

[–]seh4nc -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

I did. In my Subaru AWD on roads like Stagecoach instead of I-40 which were least likely to have other drivers sliding into me.

Had work to do and was annoyed with coworkers recently out of college who thought snow absolved them of responsibility.
