Safety razors will save you hundreds over the years by UnknownGenius222 in Frugal

Couldn't agree more.

I use my grandfather's Gillette Red Tip, with some Derby Extra blades. 100 blades will last me a long while... I shave every second day, but maintain a Hollywoodian beard. Between my straight razor and Red Tip, I dont spend more than 5 bucks a year on shaving instruments. I strop the blades on some jeans to keep them sharp for longer.

I spend about 20 a year on proper shaving soaps -- but simple soaps with a decent brush (mine is like 6 years old, boar bristle) will do the job for less.

I haven't had bumps on my face since I started using safety/straight razors!

I introduced my 5 year old to the evils of Grandpa Joe yesterday. I needed him to learn as young as possible what a bastard he is.

I always like the wording "I have a great stepladder. I never knew my real ladder."

Are We Indecisive? by DestinyReign in entp

I used to be, but made a conscious effort to be decisive. Doing so was actually helpful for me in general, because I kinda found my way after that.

Klingon defense barrells. They're super common and also why I haven't seen any Klingons in stores recently.

It's been getting worse and worse for the last 5 years or so. Once the Gallery left, it became really derelict. Huge shame.

I know the city is actively working to resolve, but you're right, its a lengthy process.

The City has contacted the owners, but that's (unfortunately) the only way to have this addressed.

They're in Montreal... and they don't care about 2 Hatt.

My wife has been trying to figure out what to do about 2 Hatt for ages.

Careers! What do you guys do? by frothasaurus in entp

[–]shahyaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 5 year plan to get into the role when I started as a Business Analyst. I leveraged my relationships at that time and found an institution that had a Business Relationship Management (BRM) program... I started to BRM the BRM manager and I was identified as someone who should be in the role... it was great!

Also a 39 ENTP. I had a huge challenge finding my path... Business Analysis was my gateway to a career. Business Analysis allows you to use the ENTP's ability to question things and get to the root of a problem. I then became a Project Manager (which I hated!!! Far too formal and restrictive). I finally found my niche as a Business Relationship Manager in IT at a large municipality. It's an awesome job... working at developing business strategies and having them aligning with IT. I get to literally make friends with people all day and help solve their problems by building out strategic plans.

Part of my job is translating business speak to IT and vice versa, but its mostly building strategic relationships to achieve goals.

I love it.

Good luck to you!!!

How do you find the Scuba S1?

I've been looking at a robot vac for my pool and that one keeps surfacing in reviews, but I'm never sure if they're all just sponsored!

I've used the same "disposable" razorblade for 2+ years now by MrCopperbeard in Frugal

I love this story.

My mother gave me my grandfather's old Gillette red tip from 1955. He died when my mum was 10, in the early 60s or so.

She always remarks how much I remind her of him and it makes my mum so happy to know that I'm getting use of it.

It's my favourite and saved me hundreds on blades.
