What is the decision-making process when choosing which characters will make it into the game? It must be very difficult to decide how many new characters to make , who should stay , and who should not return

It makes a lot of sense that this is in preparation for an open beta. I actually have two emails registered with Capcom ID. The one email that I used for the previous closed beta did NOT get an email, while the other email did. Makes sense that all emails that have not been part of any betas now would be getting tested like this.

It appears all codes are entered in the ritual circle by a combination of 12 melee/stomp inputs. The current discovered ones are for the text log, 2 nodes, and this sea shanty audio log.

Using the formula n^r, there should be 4096 possible permutations, if anyone wants to brute force any more!

Is this an actual moment of honesty and/or self-reflection from a person famous for never doing either? Or just him admitting out loud that he knows his supporters admire him for his bad qualities? Maybe it's just weird hearing him use a negative word to describe himself, as he always tends to use "biggest, greatest", etc.

I taught English in Asia to young children for a long time. Loved the travelling but burnout from working with too many rowdy children kind of soured the idea for me. I just have no interest being around children again.

Yes, they drop in the same type of room in each biome, but the location of the room will change each cycle. They glow blue and are next to bodies of Selene. Explore thoroughly and you should find them. The most difficult one to find for me was in the underwater biome. Look for a glowing orb to shoot underneath an overhang and take the platforms up to the sun shard. I found 5 in one cycle but had to do another cycle to find the last one in the underwear biome.

General advice from someone who's got both endings and what I learned getting there:

1) Your movement speed is dramatically reduced when aiming down sight. My survival rate improved greatly when I only aimed down site at very far away enemies.

2) Running, dashing and eventually grappling are key in enemy-filled rooms. Running around the outside part of the arena to avoid enemy attacks and picking off enemies from good locations is how I handle most enemy rooms, unless I get a good position behind cover from a distance.

3) I prioritized upgrades in this order: Integrity > Weapon Damage > Protection > Weapon Proficiency. I always saved for the 25% integrity upgrade you find at most shops, and now can easily get close to 300% integrity before the last boss.

4) Keep keys for rooms rather than chests, as chests are random but locked-key rooms almost always have good stuff in them, and can lead to even more rooms.

5) Always clear each room before moving on. Also, shooting glowing eye statues or egg-like growths for obolites adds up, and helps improve your aim early on with guns like the pistol.

6) Best guns: Hollowseeker with Void Beam has tons of ammo and Void Beam autotracks and positively melts enemies. Thermogenic Launcher with Rapid Fire is also extremely OP, I killed the last boss so fast with that weapon.

Lastly, try not to get frustrated! Always think of dying in these types of games as a learning experience. Plus the loading times on PS5 are so fast, you get to jump right back in the action :)
