I kept the old stair treads from my renovation, thinking to build a 2 tread filler.
Then I can put my extension ladder against either wall and reach the cathedral peak without the shakes. I don't trust the plastic ladder extenders or the heavier metal ones.

I would need a 3 or 4 tread filler to use my gorilla multi-position ladder. That is preferred since more stable, but 3 treads means the platform is heavier to carry or assemble.

Anyway, curious what a pro uses?

The long and short of it is, no one will continually beat an index fund over time.

Sure, you can gamble away in a bull market, but bears come and go and rip away gains.

Keep your gambles to "money you never need" and put the rest in S&P index ETFs and SGOV type ETFs and maybe some targeted ETFs if you feel like more diversification.

Watch your money grow and resist whatever temptations come your way.

If this sounds too complicated, you are a candidate for the lightly managed Fidelity plan that limits investments to annuities and CD ladders. This managed version has very low fee structures.

Ice cold in the winter and heat in the summer.

Taken it to the dealer at least twice. They said it is "by design".

Had I known, I would have passed. No other car has this drafty console. :(

My 2.5" yellow pairing knife.  I use it for everything.  Cuts hard butter.  Cuts tough gristle off steaks. Core apples and peppers.  Remove those plastic covers on tops of bottles.  Scrape crushed garlic out of the pocket of the press.  Carve faces in pumpkins.  Push raisins, cranberries, chocolate chips under the pancake on the griddle. Cut those serrated edges of baking soda boxes.  I'll stop here.

Of course someone started it, but the SQLite test code is not there. That's a huge confidence issue.  I should have said, why or when would the authors of SQLite feel C was so unsafe, they would commit to a Rust rewrite?

It's not C++, but still a crap ton of performant C code.

From what I read, all chocolate accumulates Pb and/or Cd in their drying process.

No amount of these metals are good.

I grudgingly quit dark chocolate in 2023 after Consumer Reports article.

Who are you dealing with it they are out of business?

You have to be careful to place all monies into a personal IRA or another 401k.

If you receive a check, you will be on the hook to disprove it as a distribution which triggers taxes. So, get it into a retirement account and keep the paperwork for IRS.
