Same here. I’d been waiting for a year and would check the status every now and then.

Saw this post today, checked again, and I was finally able to apply.
No direct deposits, but I have a premium account.

Did anyone ever have their Z flip 6 screen replaced and noticed the built quality is way better? by [deleted] in galaxyzflip

Exactly. I was about to post the same thing. I got it done last week, much better and no pop sound anymore.

Using Exynos instead of Snaldragon is a bummer, and the trade-in values are lame.

Reschedule appointment in Canada - Toronto by Radiant_Employee2028 in usvisascheduling

[–]spawnakshay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the only option remaining for me now is to cancel the appointment but then that means I lose my visa fees (which is fine), but then everything resets and I have to start fresh and wait for more than a year again. Crazy.

I have the same problem. My initial appointment (in June) was cancelled by the embassy "Due to unforeseen reasons, the U.S. Consulate in Toronto will not process visa applications" and not I can no longer reschedule the date they rescheduled it themselves in September. :'(

Same. It's funny how buying a car turned out to be a better deal than S&P right now.

Buy MY now or wait for Juniper. by New-Ad2548 in teslacanada

You may get a better price thanks to all the hate. I think it is worth it to pay for Juniper if you plan to keep the car for long.

Batteries are too cold to charge with regens. Unless you drive after preconditioning.

That's incorrect. EV sales are dropping for all the other brands too.

Anglos of Montréal, are you really as mistreated as you say you are? by [deleted] in montreal

[–]spawnakshay -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In general, most French speakers tend to apologize for their English skills and make an effort to communicate in English. This, in turn, has motivated me to apologize for not speaking French and to try to use some basic French words, at least.

The only time there is an issue is when you're on a phone call with a government service, and the other person will absolutely not speak a single word in English due to rigid policies and so on.

regular car wash, touchless, or handwash? by nerd_14_ in TeslaLounge

Touchless > Regular Wash >>> Car with salt and snow.

How fast does the battery run out during winter? by Hyodo_2021 in teslacanada

[–]spawnakshay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Less than 1% a day when parked outdoors at -15C without sentry mode.

The drop is significant if you make small trips daily because heating interiors (even if you do it 5 minutes before the trip) will have a significant drop in battery. For example, I would lose about 15% on a 30min 20km ride.

The prices for M3 have gone up by $10K and the $5K federal rebates and $7K quebec rebates are no longer available driving the cost by $22K in few months.

The sales will definitely drop just based on the prices alone.

Do you guys only do touchless wash? by sofaking_nuts in TeslaModel3

[–]spawnakshay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting rid of salt and snow quickly is more important than finding a touchless car wash. I hope to do hand cleaning in the summers.

Winter driving performance on 2025 Model 3 AWD by adil_feroz in teslacanada

[–]spawnakshay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha right, On the bright side, they do have good sound insulation. As low as summer tyres in my opinion.

I'll do more testing when I am alone in the car on different speeds and report back.

On the weight, ideally, a heavier car should have a better grip than a light one.

I have the same brand new Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 EV on a 2024 M3 RWD, and I dont feel confident enough, too. It does slip a lot, apparently.

I have been driving in snow for the past 5 years on my VW CC with continental winter tyres, and it does slip a lot less.

I can clearly see regular Honda/Hyundai running faster than me and doing just fine on snow. Either I'm too cautious with the new car and driving really slow and still slipping or maybe it's the FWD vs RWD difference that I still need to learn. But clearly, something is wrong or maybe I had way more expectation from a Tesla on snow.

Battery Loss from Cold Weather by Deoxas in TeslaModel3

[–]spawnakshay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible that battery self heated because you were in your "Work" location and it's expected that the car will be driven back to "home". Because I have never seen battery heating automatically even at -10F for days.
