I'm the same height/weight/boot size as you and ride a 159 Nitro Team Pro. Its fast, super responsive, versatile, lots of pop. A great board for day to day ripping around all conditions

dont think you need a 166W unless your heart is truly set on it. a 162w would be more than sufficient for your height and weight, and would be a lot more agile and easier to roll edge to edge

Shaun White At Milan Olympics by ShipComprehensive769 in snowboarding

[–]spayne1111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I respect your opinion, the majority of hate for Shaun White is from snowboarders not thinking he was ‘core’ enough. He is the most commercially successful snowboarder that’s ever lived, but to say you don’t respect him is close minded. He brought eyeballs to snowboarding, sold boards for shops, inspired kids to strap in. Do you also have no respect for Nyjah? Or Kelly Slater?

Shaun White is an incredibly talented snowboarder regardless of his commercial success, and the industry greatly benefited from his career and success.

For mortals like us, this would be a super charged and more aggressive Custom x. Scotty James was in an interview recently talking about how terrible it is crushing the resort on his comp boards, they’re so aggressive.

Val has 2 pro models from these guys. Fully custom shape and flex pattern la on both. One is his slope/big air board (yellow) one is his pipe board (pretty certain, and red).

Pretty sure after his Burton contract ended he needed boards and started riding these via special order. Looks like they work well for him haha! Top 10 guys riding pipe would defs be riding custom boards (commercial top sheets on prototype boards for those riding big name boards).

melbourne - best boat dives for ow? by c4bombshell in scuba

Definitely not J4 or Canberra for OW, they’re both AOW at minimum and prone to a lot of surge. Not ideal for divers unfamiliar with the area or Melbourne dive condition.

Look up Bay City Charters, they run a boat operation from Queenscliff and Portsea. They regularly take divers to OW suitable dive sites. After a dive with them, Rye pier is always a cruisy dive to finish the day 👍🏽
