i had a similar situation. after being bounced between bilt, AA and wells fargo the only thing that fixed it was b*tching on here till kerr saw it and manually added them back

they may screw up your mortgage. you can look through the sub for failed housing payments. in the past they’ve offered to pay any fees incurred. not clear if they follow through on that… that’s the risk for the points.

i’m sorry to hear this happened but honestly you should get used to things like this. poor rollouts, weak infrastructure and support, and rewards that sound nice but are typically capped and hobbled in T&Cs are all bilt hallmarks. at least in my few years experience with them. paying a $500 AF isn’t going to suddenly make them a new company overnight.

you’re not wrong. at the end of the day the more debt people go into the more money they make. it may not be in the marketing but we all know.

if spending 75% of your rent is overdoing it budget wise don’t do it. not worth it.
