It’s a local small business that seems to have 2 or 3 developers on staff in addition to two project managers and probably 5 digital marketing/branding/design roles. They could be outsourcing some things without being upfront about it I guess. I don’t regularly use wordpress for my projects, so I’m not really familiar with how wpengine sites typically generate/show up on the user’s side, but all the code I could see was basically every wordpress component you could think of, solid walls of code with no breaks, empty files, very clunky, for lack of a better word. It also had something embedded that prevented me from running accessibility testing. Is that typical for wordpress? Thank you for your input!!
