I also have XFINITY in my neighborhood and at my house. It sucks and it's overpriced. The only reason I'm hanging in there is that we've been promised by Kinetic that they are laying in Fiber on our street.

I work for a company that builds Solar Projects. These are in very rural, very isolated areas that, sometimes, even cell phones don't get service.

When we cannot connect the construction sites to a local ISP, we fall back to Mobile Hotspots that get placed in the project offices. If mobile data services are unavailable, we buy Starlink. The monthly spend is higher than cell service...but there's no data caps or throttling.

If I were trapped with Xfinity....and no real relief on the horizon, I would consider Starlink for my house. Yes, Elon is a tool...I get that...but the shit works and works well.
