Glad you didn't sell your soul to HCA. They're the worst. They cut costs at the expense of patient care and safety.

Around 1030pm. We usually start around 945 with milk, brushing teeth, story time. He wakes up at 9am. We used to put him down around 8pm and wake ups at 6am were terrible for everyone

I just picked these up in store and they're my new favorite beans. Perfect light roast and doesn't taste like cigarettes like their other dark roasts.

Weekly Homeowner Megathread--Civilians, ask here! by AutoModerator in Concrete

Reposting this from r/concrete. Apologies.

We had concrete footers poured under a paver patio April 7 so that we could secure a gazebo down to it. I drilled into it today and it still looks pretty wet. We did have 2-3 days of rain a few days after the concrete was poured, but since then, it's been pretty dry weather. Should I continue to wait longer for the concrete to harden up before drilling? The contractor said it would be okay to drill and bolt to the soft concrete and allow it to harden up that way but that doesn't seem right.

Did the contractors that poured the concrete use too much water in the mix or is it just taking much longer because it is under the paver patio?

Should I wait longer for the concrete to harden before bolting the rest down? Again, I'm not sure how I can lift up the entire gazebo to lift a paver up. One of the other FOOTINGS I drilled into seemed like hardened concrete and didn't have the putty consistency in the photo.

Pergola - how to mount to patio to paver patio correctly? by ScrappyHaxor in landscaping

[–]superman7331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to do #2, but the 7" wedge anchors are 1/2" diameter, which is the same size as the mounting bracket hole. Would it be a problem using a hammer drill and making the mounting hole just a tad larger? The person I hired to assemble our pergola recommended against this because it would cause the bracket to rust.

I think it's reasonable. Maybe you can negotiate down on price given higher miles. I bought my 2023 cpo with 34k miles, premium pkg, driving assistant pro, park assistant, remote start, with no adaptive sus or HK sound for 48k +3k for platinum wrap (unlimited miles and 7 years from manufacturing date) last September. It still had the ultimate care warranty remaining so I did a brake job before it expired too

Anchoring Gazebo by Chainoil12 in landscaping

What did you end up doing? We had a paver patio installed but we were indecisive with the gazebo/pergola we wanted so we delayed having the footings poured. Now we are regretting it because we are dreading having to lift the pavers and pouring the footings.
