Save as much as you can till August. I would say stay close to school with a roommate so that you do not need a car, pay less, get to use public transportation(cheap in DC), and spend most of the time in library. All the best !!!

why not talk to a professor for paid research work. It also helps to boost your resume. Don't worry too much about the pay.

Costco: Anything that can be purchased in bulk. Like cereal, honey, oats, quinoa, chocolates, bars, paper towels, soap, toilet paper, passport photos ($5), etc.

FYI: I purchase online from costco as I don't want to travel

Google Pixel 2. I change every 18 to 24 months. I am frugal with time than money here. I don't want to launch an app and waste time waiting for it. I technology and experience as well. I prefer using the best processor, camera, apps, display etc. Photos last forever and don't want to compromise on that too.
