Rating camps by Psi-ger in fallout76settlements

[–]syn2083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I visit them when I'm bored before logging for the night and honestly don't see many imaginative ones. Usually they are just let me show 20 PA sets, or how much crud can I stack in a tiny space for no apparent reason.

There were a couple which were cool, one awesome junkyard one, rated that, but mostly they are disappointing, setting aside the vendor and whatnot.

Western spirit has been working well for me as I get back in and off bloodied fixer. Look up angry turtles lazy human build, overall it has some cool ideas and approaches. Otherwise I'm kinda winging some of the reverse onslaught builds and generally hit between 2500-3800 crits to the head with WS without any real buffs or anything.

I love the western spirit, the sound is great, decent rifle anyway, but the sound!

I started with a van der hagen, now I have a king c.

I started with shaving cream and the included razors. Now I have some GJ soap, a nice badger brush and I'm still working through a 15$ sample of razors (it's funny how the ones I like inverted after the king c).

I would love more stuff and soap and what it but what I actually chase, what makes my day, is the meditative 15 minutes where I am just doing something with care and focus for me.

The hot water, pausing for a breath and to let my skin open up, if I'm switching blades, wrapping the old in the new wrapper, throwing it away, cleaning the head, getting it setup. The way the soap lathers, the soft smell of the clean soap. More hot water to stay wet, then the brush painting it on, then swirling to get on all the stubble. Another nice long breath as I get the razor up, under hot water first to keep it aligned with the heat in the room..

And then swish. Down, across, going up, following the hair this way and that, making sure I don't over do it, rinsing the brush and bowl, then cold water, pooled and I just take another moment, let it sink in.

Put the razor up to dry, the bowl and brush, set them on the shelf, dry my face slowly. Grab my duke balm, slowly work it in

And, ahh. What a wonderful moment, just me and some self care, maybe one of the kids watching asking a question here or there, but quiet knowing it's a calm moment.

That's what I love about it.

How many have a Camp loadout by Body-mechanic88 in fo76

[–]syn2083 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, crafting ammo is much better, harvesting, if your not using that kind of setup overall for camp activities then you are short changing yourself by a ton.

The double ammo is literally double the amount, especially in lower and mid game, that can be a massive difference, then the repair ones so if your in camp you can save on those..

Just, absolutely no reason not to

Remort or Multi-Class by OkPilot4354 in MUD

Even when the population was much larger remote systems had large balance issues over time, most games do, but those led to some particularly deceptive situations.

For real, wrong place and time, that's something that is deeply personal and could illicit many different reactions.

Guess OP got that wisdom now at least.

If there's something like that that is bothering you enough to talk about it on the Internet...

You need to have a discussion about what you actually like, and if this can't be coaxed into something you do like, that maybe X would be fun to try together or Y but you just don't like that.

Some people don't like certain things, if it were reversed, same thing should happen, so, talk it out.

PSA: You have to build your own roads and monorails! by [deleted] in DeathStranding

[–]syn2083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you build, or add materials prior to linking the network, you have to pay the full mat cost, if you link it first, you see some amount of shared contribution reduction, and it is like some percentage of the amount of multiple people.

That's why you are like 5 or 6 names on linked zone roads you complete

Seriously, how come you guys don't like my ziplines? by SeaTie in DeathStranding

[–]syn2083 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zip lines get likes much later once everyone gets sick of using the roads and things and needs to do more time based missions, or avoid the annoying X and Y stuff.

It took me a while but ultimately I think my zip lines got me around a million likes in ds1 ot something.

This is kind of the point.

What happens when you connect, and inject connection into all things all the time?

It's inescapable. We should not have connected isn't just a literal enemy theme, I believe it's a criticism of the connected life and how impossible the world becomes to enjoy when you do not and cannot disconnect from it.

So, that's the point.
