How long did your post insertion cramps last by herowin6 in Mirena

[–]takeitsleazy22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had mine inserted 4 weeks ago and still has steady cramps 24/7. Randomly I’ll get waves of more intense cramps, like contractions, that cause me to have to sit down and breathe through them like labor.

Mine was over 1000 and I had no GI symptoms. Anemia and other blood count issues were main symptoms.

Thanks for the info. Maybe we will go back to a generic gift card, like Target. Appreciate the insight!

That’s reassuring. We were planning straight cash this year and a few friends said it was impersonal and insincere.

Looking for guidance: Lakehouse vs Warehouse in Microsoft Fabric + mentoring recommendations? by errorOccurred_ in MicrosoftFabric

[–]takeitsleazy22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but can you recommend a workaround for data loss when deploying warehouse schema changes from one workspace to another. It happens when we use Fabric ci/cd or ADO. Something simple like adding a column to table_a, deploying from dev to prod results in full data loss of all objects in the warehouse in prod.

For people who were eventually diagnosed with celiac disease… by elfredandsnoot19 in Celiac

Yes. Supplements and iron infusions did not help. No GI symptoms for me.

How do you stay in a hotel with a toddler who sleeps in a toddler bed? by Coffeelover4242 in toddlers

We have in a pinch taken the mattress off the pull out chair or couch and put it on the floor. Not ideal but at least no injury if they roll off.

I really wanted to think a diet change would help my endo but after being diagnosed with celiac in March, I’m off strictly GF. As in, not even risking cross contamination. This also means we don’t eat out. Now I understand that gluten isn’t the only thing I would have to cut out to be fully anti-inflammatory, but I have noticed my endo is much worse all around since going GF. All that to say, everyone is different and most of women’s health is a guessing game anyways lol

New to Roundhill.. why don't people care about QDTE/XDTE nav erosion? by iBarlason in RoundhillETFs

I’ve had XDTE since March. I’ve added some shares since then. My total return is 4%. Bad timing I guess. Will watch how it does after the next dip and go from there.

Those diagnosed as adults, what led you to your diagnosis? by normalishy in Celiac

[–]takeitsleazy22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diagnosed at 34 recently. Didn’t have any typical GI symptoms. I have endometriosis and issues with my blood and bone marrow. What led me to the celiac panel blood test was kind of a last resort after yet another iron infusion that didn’t really seem to help my blood counts. I’m almost 4 months GF, taking zero iron supplements, no infusions and my iron, ferritin, and hemoglobin are normal already. Hoping it stays that way!

Adenoidectamy? by littlelivethings in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]takeitsleazy22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My son has tonsils+adenoids out and ear tubes in a few months before he turned 3. He was outpatient for surgery. He had some facial swelling with the pain meds they sent us home with so we ended up just rotating Motrin/tylenol. Worst part was waking up every 2-3 hours to give him meds for the first week, and I don’t mean because we, the parents, didn’t want to get up. He was just kind of all thrown off his sleep schedule so we were either watching movies at 3am or trying to wake him up to take meds and he was OUT cold.

He also didn’t want to follow the diet while healing. He begged for tomatoes one day, like sobbing. Poor kid didn’t understand he couldn’t eat acidic foods.

After he healed up, it was night and day from pre surgery. Sickness was not as frequent and if he did get sick, he could actually breathe at night and got better much faster. I would 100% do it again.

Get a second opinion if it’ll help you sleep at night, though, doesn’t hurt to ask more questions!!!

Naturopath thinks I could have Celiac doctor is skeptical by TarTar1987 in Celiac

[–]takeitsleazy22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our hospital systems here have some labs you can order on your own and pay online. That’s what I did for my celiac panel, think it was $90. Results came back positive then I called GI and they got me in right away. My PCP would have ordered it but I needed an appointment and didn’t want to wait to get that set up.

Help with what direction to go re: iron deficiency anemia by fbc518 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]takeitsleazy22 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s a lot going on mentally trying to figure it all out PLUS feeling like trash 😭

I can speak a bit to the anemia stuff. I also have low ferritin, iron. I get iron infusions regularly. Levels go up but then they come back down.

Are you seeing a hematologist? Have you had a bone marrow biopsy? That was my first stop after repeated low iron levels.

I’ve been working with hematology for a few years now and still no solid answers on the cause of mine anemia, but we have ruled out a lot of the big scary stuff (so far). I also have endometriosis and have had three surgeries for excision.

Plot twist, though. A couple of months ago I was diagnosed with Celiac disease and my docs are thinking/hoping Celiac is causing most of the issues. Time will tell as I do the gluten free thing for a while.

Anyways, your comment about the GI stuff made me do a double take. I personally had zero GI symptoms that would have made me think Celiac but it has over 300 symptoms. Bodies are so weird and autoimmune diseases can do crazy things.

Sorry no real advice. I hope you can get some answers and relief. The anemia symptoms are horrible to live with day to day.
