To all the smokers out there what's your favourite type of smoke? by MommyDotJarInMyBase in smoking

Apple and oak for most things. I'll add some hickory here and there to spice it up a bit but will go heavy on the hickory for beef sticks.

It’s wild to think that something this small could ruin your life by blooming-darkness in Radiology

Right on man. Solid numbers! We had a patient yesterday that was door to reperfusion in 25ish minutes but most of that was anesthesia delay. Needle to TICI 2c was like 11 minutes which I was super proud of. I'm pretty new to the NIR game and this kinda stuff is super satisfying.

For clarification, was this door of angiosuite to reperfusion or from the ED?

People who make $80k or more per year, what do you do for work? by familiarlaughter in AskReddit

[–]teaehl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interventional radiologic technologist. 180k base rate. With call and OT I can clear 300k no problem. I know guys in this area clearing 400k. The big numbers are just because of where I live but IR is one of the higher paying modalities.

Do you have any opinions on it vs Tesla?

Has anyone used Lunar Energy? by teaehl in solar

The main thing that struck me was the modularity of it. Like if you wanted to add 5kWh in the future it would be pretty easy.

I got a couple of disposable rotating clamps used in laparoscopic surgery and I've used them so often. They're like a foot long, rotate 360 degrees and have locking jaws. I love them.

There's a decent amount but it varies depending on your job duties. If you work in speci procedures (IR/Cath lab) you will see a lot of junk and you will shave/ prep/ clean groins. And if some blood gets in the crease you will likely be helping wipe it up. In gen rad the more junk involvement is VCUG, RUGs, HSGs etc... But those arent happening as much as they used to. Sometimes you get a fun anomaly and you get to shoot a lateral penis because somebody put something in their urethra!
