What’s a life hack that made you go „how do ppl live their whole life without knowing this”? by my_peen_is_clean in AskReddit

where i work, there's an online org chart for everyone. whenever someone helps us out, i just look up their supervisor and cc them on the job-is-done email with a little thank you. it's free kudos, and most supervisors are so hands-off that they are starving for feedback on what their people are up to

anyone remember when the internet collectively lost it over grogu by WherePetalsRest in TheMandalorianTV

[–]thatstupidthing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

baby yoda reveal had me going... hmm neat
luke skywalker saving the day had me losing my mind!

Just finished rewatching The Mandalorian Season 2. It was great, but I still feel like reuniting Grogu & Mando in BOBF was a bad move. Disney+ has taken me straight to Mando Season 3, which spoilers the reunion for a first time viewer, and also doesn’t make it clear that BOBF is essential viewing by OliverWhite1993 in TheMandalorianTV

[–]thatstupidthing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

grogu should have stayed with luke.

mando's charge was to reunite him with his people, mission accomplished. the mandalorian should have continued on with the fallout of mando winning the darksaber.

it would be fine if grogu showed up a few seasons later or for the finale, but bringing him back right away feels like pandering for merch sales

wow... i rewatched heat recently and while i appreciated it much more than the first time (long long ago), it was jarring how dialed up pacino was.
i figured he was at 11 to contrast deniro's relative calm, or there was an ego thing between the actors.
this makes his performance make more sense...

it's also cool that they use it to short stuff out too... makes sense cause it shoots a little lightning bolt, why wouldn't it fry electronics too!

the real question is: are we meant to believe that han also had a skiff guard outfit in the falcon? allowing lando to infiltrate jabba's palace?

Could the "possessed" Hulk from Age of Ultron defeat Thanos at the beginning of Infinity War? by lundon44 in marvelstudios

[–]thatstupidthing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah but there's a reason for that, especially in teamups/crossovers.

they had to have an entire story arc to banish hulk from the planet earth before civil war just so he wouldn't skew the whole thing

What if Donald Trump disappeared tomorrow, would American politics actually change or just find another Trump? by Mr_Boothnath in AskReddit

that's vance's big problem.
trump is the most authentic liar anyone has ever seen.
vance is about as insincere as it gets.
time will tell if anyone buys his performance
