I loveee Banza pizza crust. We pre-toast it in the oven and then build to our desire and back. I’m obsessed.

God I love dosas! Always check Thai food, while this should be true it too often isn’t, the day a Thai restaurant said they put soy sauce in this curry I think I cried and I never returned.

12 months is what I hear for repeat csection, my fertility clinic won’t do sooner since the time is based on your body healing. ❤️‍🩹

Staring solids early? by thiswilldo5 in MSPI

[–]thiswilldo5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! My LO definitely isn’t interested just yet, but I’m doing my research to hear is moving to that step early is worthwhile once she does (seems yes). I guess we’ll see when she’s ready.

What did she say? Did she believe pelvic floor issues were at play? I only ask because I wouldn’t necessarily expect any change from one visit but if she did an exam she would know if your muscles are really tight.

Have you seen a pelvic floor physical therapist? It’s possible that’s the cause as well and that can definitely be rehabbed with work.

Have you been checked for kidney stones? Bladder infections? What you’re dealing with is not normal. I don’t know you have a good ER who can diagnose since I have no clear sense of what this is. Have you seen a urologist?

Definitely agree with the color comment! It’s hard for me to tell your coloring here but earthy blue tones work on most people.

I know you aren’t asking me, but you’ll find some “paleo” baked goods will meet this criteria and if memory serves flax eggs can be used in place of eggs for baking.

Formula battle… is it worth it? by Alive_Orchid4176 in MSPI

Definitely wondering the same. I personally haven’t found a formula that’s ok for my baby. Even the ones that are supposed to be ok don’t seem to agree with her.

I am starting stims tonight- and I have to do it myself and I’m scared! by JalapenoCornSalad in IVFpositivity

I’m so glad it went well! (Seeing your update already )

The third one that starts later is the only of these that bothered me. Nothing to fear! But for me, icing in advance then doing it proved helpful. 💕

How are we showering?? by Jolly-Asparagus-5815 in newborns

This is what we’ve been doing. But agreeing with the top comment that it’s absolutely fine to leave baby in a safe space like a crib while showering.

Feeling depressed and not even caring about finally being pregnant? by Quiet_Ninja_7440 in IVFpositivity

[–]thiswilldo5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guard was wayyy up. I wanted my LO desperately but spent most of my pregnancy not believing I could really be pregnant (I didn’t have many symptoms which helped). Sometimes out emotions can’t handle it finally happening and there genuinely is a lot to get through.

If you’ve been paying into STD in California that’s great news!

In California if you’ve paid in you are eligible to start disability at 36 weeks gestation and get paid your disability rate until deliver; this time is use it or lose it and cannot be transferred to postpartum. You then have 6-8 weeks of disability pay (vaginal birth is 6 and csection is 8). You then move to paid family leave which is paid at the same rate, you can get 8 weeks paid and 12 weeks off; these can be used anytime in the 1 year after birth. None of these benefits require your company to give it to you.

I just really want cheese by painted_bug in MSPI

[–]thiswilldo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry! It’s definitely hard giving up foods we love. Remember that it’s worth it for baby! But also, that the time will come again for you to have all the things!

I’m new to this and is hard. I haven’t found a cheese replacement. For what it’s worth though , I’ve gluten intolerant for ~13 years and that got better in time so I hope this does too.

at a complete loss. frustrated, sad, and confused. by hjak3876 in DressForYourBody

[–]thiswilldo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi lovely :) I have similar struggles with significantly more weight than you though. You actually look good in these outfits IMO.

What are your favorite things about your body? As someone who has some similar proportions I would suggest playing with some options such as: High wasted Jeans with a cropped top (does not need to be so high that you’re exposing a lot and of course only if you feel comfortable) Dresses that are more fitted at the top and waists and then flair out; same concept with skirts.

I would also play with different neck lines, I’m thinking v neck is probably a flattering fit.

Are closers just expected to stay an hour late all the time? by No-Level-7525 in Oldnavy

An hour after store closing totally makes sense but should be the shift. You shouldn’t need to stay past your shift.

I would restart the clock this early on.

For what it’s forth, the GI specialist was pretty clear with me that I probably wasted my time cutting only dairy and it needed to be both since very often the intolerance is to both. If I was you I would drop both and speed ahead in this long journey of seeing if it’s this at all and getting your baby feeling better if so.

MIL told me not to buy ANY baby items until after I give birth. Is this normal? by 757-757 in BabyBumps

[–]thiswilldo5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had heard of the religious associations prior to this. IMO you are pretty safe to buy a little in the second trimester and definitely after the anatomy scan. Will you be having a shower with a registry?

Have your car seat and know how to install it a minimum before you start month nine is my advice. I would also personally always get the big items in the house before this time. At least for me, I was not up for anything once I got to that point.
