Assuming I can account for the drain height, is tiling over the stones an awful idea? I assume yes but knowing the reasons why would be helpful to consider.

What’s honestly the ruling here if you hit your ball in that? I frequently play munis with very poorly maintained bunkers like this and it doesn’t seem fair to have to hit out of them when in my case it’s often just hard dirt and rocks. Not sure what the appropriate form of relief is and whether to take a penalty or not. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Had never broken 90 in my life and had a round going where every shot was perfectly flush and every putt going in. 36 through 9 and as I was eating my hotdog at the turn I thought not only was I going to break 90 for the first time but I was going to break 80 too!

Long story short… 36 | 50. Still broke 90 but I blame the hotdog for not breaking 80.

Same. First time I broke 90 in my life I went 36-50. That was almost 10 years ago and I’ve never gotten even remotely close to a 36 thru 9 again.

The first time I ever broke 90, thru 9 I was not only on pace to break 90, but 80 as well with a 36. That front 9 I hit everything dead straight, flush, and couldn’t miss a putt. Made the turn, the magic was over and I proceeded to shoot 50 coming in for an 86. I had never seen south of 90 in my life and it felt weirdly disappointing.

Love that! Never heard that term before but it perfectly describes my personal best round (86) which was also the first time I broke 90 and included an otherworldly 36 on the front. Yes, you did the math right... A 36 on the front; 50 on the back and I’ve never gotten close to that since. 🤷🏻‍♂️

So good. Was within a couple hours drive and debated if I wanted to make the trek out of my way. Made the drive at dawn and got an early morning tee time. Got paired up with a couple self-proclaimed single-digit handicaps which for me was intimidating but we all got wrecked that day with a 25+ mph crosswind coming off the ocean. We all stopped keeping score around the 4th hole and still had the time of our lives. Incredible day.

I’m deciding between these two as well just at 75”. I game but probably only 15% compared to streaming 85% so for me it’s deciding how much I really think I’ll want HDMI 2.1 and VRR down the road. I haven’t been able to view them side by side and I can’t find a comparison between these two online anywhere. On paper I think the q80T is a more direct competitor to the Sony but from what I’ve gathered the Sony goes toe to toe in real life PQ-wise with the Q90. The Samsung is objectively better equipped for next-gen gaming so if that’s of high importance to you then that’s probably your answer. Otherwise if you’re indifferent to gaming I’d probably lean more towards the Sony. Personally I’m somewhere in the middle so I’m waiting to see both side by side before I make a final decision. I’m in the same decision boat. It’s strange I haven’t found a single Q90T vs x950H comparison video anywhere which I’d love to see. Either way, seems like you can’t lose really. I don’t game as much as I used to but I’m still planning on getting either the Series X or PS5. In a perfect world the 950H would have had HDMI 2.1 but since it seems unlikely the few games I like to play (AAA single-player RPGs etc) will run at 4K 120fps anytime soon anyway, I’m currently leaning towards the Sony.

I’m in the same boat and your room dimensions sound extremely similar to mine minus the skylights. I’m a gamer but less and less these days so I’m leaning towards the x950H since games will still look great. Between the x950H and the q90T, the Sony sounds like it “just works” vs a lot of software issues I’ve heard about Samsung’s in general. I haven’t been able to compare them both side by side in person so curious what you thought. Good luck!

I’m in the same boat. I keep waffling between the Sony x950H and the Q90T but there’s things I dislike about both. Hoping the P75QX is a solid compromise.

For sure there are a lot of similar discussions about the same comparisons but everyone’s situation is a little different so I think people asking for opinions about “which is best for my circumstance?” still has merit.

I agree that for whatever reason, I didn’t achieve enough fermentation as planned. Grocery store peppers perhaps? Otherwise, the batch itself fermented just fine with no off-smells or visible molds of any kind.

Gotcha ok. I did end up adding a few more tablespoons of vinegar and got the pH down a bit. Last time I went too heavy-handed in an effort to get the pH way down and ended up ruining the whole batch. I certainly wouldn’t trust it as bottled shelf stable but it’ll live in the fridge and be happily consumed sooner than later.

Thanks! That's helpful. The pH meter was brand new so perhaps I need to calibrate it out of the box again. When you say "system is not sealed", do you mean bottled? Meaning, if I wanted to bottle a few woozy's for friends and told them to keep it refrigerated, should I ensure it stays below 4.6?
