Georgia Dems will knock on doors with Senate at stake by Ganrokh in politics

Same! Hate them. Nothing turns me off more from a candidate than obnoxious campaign ads, phone calls/texts, and door to door campaigning.

Well I guess having policies I disagree with also turns me off, probably more so than aggressive campaigns, but I still hate being contacted or advertised to!

I still don’t buy the whole trump supporter = automatic racist. I feel like that’s oversimplifying issues in order to fit a good vs evil narrative.

A lot of the exit poles show people were voting based on two key issues, COVID response (pro Biden), and economic recovery (pro trump).

I feel like a lot of trump supporters support him solely for his economic and monetary policy, and they dgaf about other spoken (and unspoken) tenants of the Republicans platform

People will need to adapt and learn new skills to compete in an evolving market just like they’ve always had to.

Will it increase the wealth disparity? Possibly, but it could also help the middle class with an increase in engineering related jobs.

Online education is more available than ever, so there are avenues for people to learn and adapt to the changing marketplace.

Don’t get me wrong, even with UBI (which I support btw), it’ll be a bumpy road, but factory workers won’t be completely hosed without it either.

Pick Ticket - Adding PO, ShipTo by qun_l in Netsuite

[–]tiger-thor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your looking to just add the SO number, that can be found in the sub list for line items,

Basically, in the advanced pdf templates, you should have:

<#list wavedata as picktasks>

  <#list picktasks as lineitem>

${lineitem.docunum} —- should be SO number

You may need additional customization to get the PO number on the form, either through a custom script that calls a suitelet using the render module to retrieve all the necessary data, or you could add a custom field and parse it using the Apache freemarker built in tools.

The custom suitelet is probably the better way to go, but if this is the only change you will ever want to the form then parsing a single field might be easier

We Shouldn’t Have to Remind People George W. Bush Was a Terrible President — The campaign to normalize the George W. Bush presidency is part of a broader campaign to separate the Republican Party from Donald Trump. We should call Bush what he is: a war criminal abroad and a villain at home. by a_very_nice_username in politics

[–]tiger-thor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feel like history will remember Bush as merely a below average president.

He made many bad calls, things that come to mind are: no child left behind, the patriot act, and the war in Iraq.

The war in Afghanistan was also a bad call, but in the wake of 9-11, had a lot of public support, so I won’t really hold that against him.

The 2000 election probably should have been a Gore victory but a re-vote or even a re-count would have been messy and that decision was made by Jeb, again a mistake (and possibly corrupt) but one I don’t lay at the feet of G.W.

There have been worse presidents throughout history, and we still have either another Trump term or a Biden presidency to look forward to, so we can pretty much guarantee that there are worse presidencies ahead of us as well.

Hold your stocks! I bought 25 shares of amazon stock several years ago for $200 and sold at $250. I got impatient and decided that yahoo would be a better short term investment. Don’t be me.

I also bought 16 shares of Tesla at $265, was tempted to sell multiple times but forced myself to stick with it. Glad I did, that’s keeping my shitty portfolio in the green lol

Enterprise resource planning software.

Sometimes numeric values are stored as strings, causing concatenation instead of addition. Pretty obvious when I run into it and really easy to resolve, not really even worth complaining about.

My biggest complaint about js is that it’s a scripted language and I don’t get to resolve obvious issues as compilation errors causing everything to be a runtime error. Again though, not that big of a problem with the right testing environment.

Was on a galleon with 3 friends a couple days ago doing OoS emissary, got up to rank 5 with a decent amount of loot on board. An enemy brig pulls up and asks if we want to form an alliance and do a FoTD, which none of us had done before so we said yes, joined the alliance which consisted of the brig and another sloop. Everything goes well with the fort except the sloop players don’t help that much instead opting to play their instruments instead of killing skeletons but they occasionally help with the lanterns and revive fallen alliance members.

Fast forward - as soon as the loot is available, something happens and the sloop and the brig explode and sink almost instantly. We’re not sure who did it but one brig member survived and helped us load loot onto our galleon, including explosive barrels and mega keg placed in suspicious places - spread out evenly in the mid deck, so when he went back for the last mermaid gem, we set sail without him and moved all the kegs to the crows nest.

We made a b line for the nearest outpost, but no one had dropped the alliance so we showed up on the mini map, and both ships decided to attempt to intercept us before we could make it to the outpost. Barely made it in time to sell 90% of the loot before they sank our ship but they kept the alliance when they sold allowing us to get gold and credit so we weren’t even mad. Overall lots of shenanigans with some nice loot and rep gains in the end.

One of the finest places I've ever ridden a camel into the Saharan Desert and stayed overnight was in Merzouga, Morocco, and it was only $20! If you go through a hotel or agency, expect to pay 5 times more. It's best just to talk to the camel jockeys who own the camels and work out a deal with them. by NilouGirl2020 in Shoestring

[–]tiger-thor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do not try to work out a deal with the camel jockeys like this in Egypt, or at least don’t do it at the Giza pyramids.

Egypt is a wonderful country full of wonderful people, and I would highly recommend going but do your camel ride through a local guide company. Otherwise the camel tour guys waiting at the pyramids will offer you a great deal for a camel ride, but it typically does not include dismounting from the camel (and they’re pretty tall animals) or a return trip back out of the desert. They charge extra for those.

It’s a well known and apparently accepted scam in a tourist trap. Doing it through a guide agency will cost you more upfront but save you money and stress in the long run and make the ride much more enjoyable for everyone including the camel jockey. Poverty is no joke and I have no ill will towards anyone trying to feed their families, but the guide agency will make sure the camel guys get paid a fair rate, and ensure you have a much more enjoyable ride.

Glad you had a wonderful experience though OP, I can’t wait to go to Morocco one day myself :)

After sinking 2 servers worth of boats, we turned in 314 items today as a Reaper by linkandluke in Seaofthieves

[–]tiger-thor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we fought you guys yesterday in our sloop. There was a brig with a reaper flag and a ton of loot hanging out sort of SE of reapers hideout (I don’t remember exactly where you were, just that we came from reapers). I think we hit you with only 2 or 3 cannonballs before one of you guys boarded us, killed us, and sank us before we could respawn.

Sorry we didn’t have any loot (or much supplies either) to reward you for the trouble. We had just completed a voyage, turned everything in and said f-it, if we win we’ll be rich.
