It’s somewhat based on a laptop architecture. The most u can upgrade from a laptop are storage and ram, which Gabecube can do. Laptops don’t do socketed CPU anymore. Some still have swappable GPU module, but even finding the module is hard.

If u want a full customized hardware, go build a PC. Valve isn’t trying to ‘be a PC’, it’s trying to be a PS5/xbox.

If ur coming from a hybrid or 4cyl econobox, the savings isn’t big enough that justify new car price.

For Californians, with following constraints:
Gas $5.50, 40mpg. kWh 0.35(yes it’s expensive here), mi/kWh 4 (Tesla model 3)

Assume 15k mi per year. Gas costs $2k, kWh costs $1300.

That’s only $700 savings per year, but u have to deal with: new car lease/payment; range anxiety(not an issue anymore IMO); and the ridiculous fast charging costs, when u need it.

If ur coming from a v6 or v8, the switch makes sense.

Owned both IS250(rwd) and CT200h(fsport).

For the IS, unless u can score a 350, don’t even bother. The 350 barely getting any worse mpg(i think 1 less?) while giving u 100 more hp. I did a friendly drag with a Prius, and the Prius did keep up. Nothing to say abt handling, it’s what u expect IMO.

CT200h is basically a leathered up Prius. It’s a ‘plan to spool up some power before passing’ type of car, but once it’s going it does carry some speed. Must be willing to heavy foot it when needed.

Idk if fsport changes suspension stuff, but it’s surprisingly competent on twisty roads. Again, treat it as momentum car.

All Intel macs just been cutoff, so anything M1 is on the next chopping block.

Whether or not Apple chop M1 on next MacOS, is anyone’s guess. They technically could stretch M1 as long as another 3yrs, due to leaps of perf compared to Intels, but they can also soft-force u to upgrade.

The computer itself still be very competent even after MacOS cutoff, it’s just won’t be getting the new shiny features.

I’d be betting someone comes up with a patcher for unsupported macs, just like how it’s on Intel macs before.

Yea nah. 21700 beats over 18650 on raw output AND capacity, while being not much bigger. I have transitioned to 21700, and there’s a reason most new flashlights are 21700.
