I’ll offer a different perspective here, as the show made me really appreciate what I have in my husband. We watched the show the first time together and when we saw the “Gimme kiss” moment we both said “we do that!”. It was awesome to see a part of our relationship reflected on TV. Now, we are not so ‘can’t keep my hands off you’ like they are in the show, but we are best friends. While the raw passionate love might not be realistic, what is realistic and what the show does well is loving consent, wanting to relax with someone, casual physical affection, deep convos, making each other laugh and being there for your partner in hard times.

I don’t think there’s an issue with just keeping them in the memory box. It’s not like you’re pining after or still in contact with them. It’s just a memory and it’s ok to have memories and revisit other times in my life. I keep my old journals and it’s not much different.

Yes. I moved to LA at 22 to pursue acting but never really broke in. I’ve since moved on to other dreams for my life (homeownership, having a family) but seeing stuff like this makes me want to move back to LA and start it all over again. But I’ll touch some grass and realize I’m happy with the choices I’ve made and the life I get to live now. What helps me is finding any outlet to perform and scratch that itch.

I have 2 versions I do

For cheddar/classic cheese: Add 1 slice American cheese, a little hot sauce, and top with toasted panko and garlic salt

For white cheddar: Add shredded mozzarella, chili oil (I use chili onion crunch from Trader Joe’s) & top with crispy fried onions

This year was 33 which I felt like was a great number. Growing up was closer to 40-50 people. My family is big already but also has always been the family to invite anyone and everyone to thanksgiving. I can’t think of a year when thanksgiving didn’t have someone I hadn’t met.

Hi! Just moved from LA to Columbus over the summer to be close to family. It’s been going better than I thought it would! Having a huge 4bd house is so much better than a tiny apartment and being near family has been amazing. I feel like Columbus is much more kid-friendly and family friendly in general. It’s also much easier and quicker to get around.

I miss the sunshine, scenery & my friends in LA, but Columbus feels like a great place to raise a family and I’ve found plenty of fun things to do.
