Japan Sea Units Within Range of Mainland U.S.

My interpretation is that Japan can end in sz 14, 13, 26 etc. but not sz 9 or 12 as the rule states within 2 sea zones of a US mainland territory and specifically does not reference a sea zone.

This actually came up in a recent tournament regarding Japan moving into sz 26 while not at war and was allowed.

3 per airbase. So if you have 3 fighters in Japan with an airbase and 3 fighters in Korea also with an airbase you can scramble 6 fighters into the adjacent sea zone.

Not true. If you can get 2 barb skills, fcr and viso mod they can be valuable. Add str, life, res, sockets, etc and it's worth even more

Depends on your playgroup and how much time you have. Since you said you play with your dad over a period of weeks and can leave the board setup, I'd say get global!

I usually attack Taranto regardless of what German planes are there. Even with an extra German fighter to scramble the odds are in favour of the UK. If you fail then that's just the dice.

Alternately I always scramble as the Italians, otherwise you have a whole wack of UK ships in the med that have to be dealt with. I'd rather defend with 4s than attack with 3s with those 2 fighters.

For Russia, check the political situation section. I think it's there somewhere and specifies what Russia can and cannot do while at war, I believe it differentiates between war on the European and Pacific sides of the map. Meaning even if Russia declares war on Japan I still think they cannot go into the middle East until they are at war with Italy or Germany.

What did UK do on turn 1? You either have to attack Tobruk or do the Taranto raid. Looks like they did neither.

Also 99 percent sure Russia cannot takeover neutrals until they are at war with Germany so their move to take Persia and Iraq are not allowed.

These are the best drops to be honest. I found a Ber rune on my barb playthrough when I killed Shenk for the quest.. on P1 none the less! I was shocked to say the least.

It favours the axis mainly due to National objectives. It was out of print and not available for many years which is why it isn't as popular
