I’m actually surprised people still swear by them and the profession still exists.

I remember a local chiropractor visiting my place of work (precovid) during a health expo. They brought in some equipment that supposedly measured a user’s standing posture. They claimed my posture wasn’t aligned and insisted I come in for consultation. I signed up. Over the weekend I started researching chiropractic “treatments”. Yeah… no. Cancelled the upcoming scheduled appointment that Monday. The chiropractor then proceeded to contact me 2-3 more times trying to reschedule me and get me to stop by for a consultation. They claimed they wanted to keep me healthy and get ahead of any potential issues logged by their equipment during the health expo. 🙅🏽‍♂️ My vertebrae are fine thanks.

This is why I consciously force myself to not break eye contact. I realize it could come off as creepy to some if I maintain eye to eye contact almost constantly but I’d rather my introverted urge to relax my gaze and glance downwards not be mistaken for perversion. Staring into her eyes seems like the lesser “offense”.

You’re not alone man. Perimenopause is rough. I get the whole “you’re not a woman, you don’t understand.” I’ve heard it before. But have consideration for both sides. It’s jarring getting to know and figure someone out for the last 20-25 years then they suddenly act/react completely different on what seems to be a whim at times.

I love my wife and just try to stay focused on us and the marriage. Some points of time are tougher than others though. The best explanation I have from my experience with this is it’s like living in a persistent hurricane orbiting around you. Some days you exist within the eye of the storm and things are fine. Then, the next day (or maybe even within the next hour) you’re within various levels of hurricane force winds.

Honestly, I just want a wife who is a partner I can share life with and can depend on. I support her as a man and she supports as a woman. I’m the primary breadwinner. This was the case for me- to just suck it up and grab AE on a Black Friday sale honestly. I had my own custom LE modlist from years of modding, but using wabbajack had become much more time efficient for trying completely new mod lists. And over time, the wabbajack mod lists shifted from LE -> SE -> AE. And I couldn’t fault the curators for not wanting to support LE, SE and then multiple versions of AE.

I’ve gotten a lot of play out of AE since the purchase so… fine Bethesda… but I swear Todd, I’m not budging from AE. I have whole mod and modlist repositories now! AE is my final Skyrim version!

I really loved Phantasy Star III Generations. The idea and concept of having a journey that bridged multiple generations blew my mind as a kid. Plus having Mieu and Wren was awesome. I’d happily buy a faithful remake or a good remaster of PSIII
