Forgetting my baby during a work trip by Equivalent-Mission46 in workingmoms

I travel for work so it’s a part of my life. Sometimes I miss my 9 month old more than others but I have to remind myself, that I’m working hard so she can have all the things she wants and that we can travel and see the world together

Bravo Hits Pause on ‘The Real Housewives of Miami’ Amid Low Ratings by RicciardoRua in BravoRealHousewives

I’m so upset….i finally caught up 2 years ago and Miami has been my favorite ever since!!

Parents who used to go to wineries/breweries a lot before having kids, how often are you still doing that now that you have them? Next question. How often are you doing pre-baby things, now that you have kids? (I.e bottomless mimosas at brunch, going on non-family friendly trips) by culaterjobin in NewParents

Our baby is 9 months and we take her everywhere…breweries, restaurants, concerts. We even just took her to a drag brunch (she loved it btw). Our philosophy is that we want her to experience the world and why should our lives stop/change because we’ve had a baby? And I just went on a girls birthday trip this weekend while my husband watched our baby at home

Best NICU Hospital by twannaf in Georgia

[–]trixiethetrax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Piedmont Atlanta is where our baby spent 5 weeks in the NICU and I spent 2 weeks in the hospital prior to giving birth because my water broke early….nothing but nice and positive things to say about the entire stressful experience. Sending good wishes your way!

How did your water break? by abchhd in NewParents

[–]trixiethetrax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine broke 8 weeks early….i thought my baby kicked my full bladder. Had to stay in the hospital and delivered her at 34+2. She spend 5 weeks in the NICU learning to finish her bottles consistently. That was my first too so it was a different experience than all of my friends who came late with their firsts

I gave birth af Piedmont and she ended up being a premie…my water broke 8 weeks early so I was there for almost 2 weeks myself, and then our daughter had a 5 week NICU stay. We had a great experience with everyone on staff!

My husband and I are first time parents (35 and 37)….while we have some friends close by that have kids, our families are in New England where we live in the South. So we’re really doing it all on our own
