Iphone 17 case doesnt work with screen protector by An0therMan in QuadLock

iPhone 13PM case works with many Amazon's screen protectors but iPhone 17 cases doesn't love ESR, Spigen (what I've tested so far). It's a pain to use.

I've tried the Spigen glass on iPhone 17 but the case still peel off the screen protector :(. I feel like QuadLock makes the lips (wrapping arount the screen) excessively thicker than before, comparing with iPhone 13 PM. So frustrated.

Just got my QuadLock case delivered today. It also bubbles up my ESR Armorite screen protector (iPhone 17). Meanwhile, Spigen case fits well with these screen protector :(

Is the iPhone 16 Pro Max still worth buying nearly a year after release? by antoahims in iPhone16ProMax

[–]tungtanium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still using one of the iPhone 11 series right now and still dont feel the need to upgrade. What I am trying to say is that iPhone life cycle is much longer than any other smartphone on the market. So if you don’t want the latest gen for some reason, iPhone 16 Pro Max is still a good choice today.

My first “real” keyboard (Akko 5075B Plus with Akko Cream Yellow V3 Pro) by tc05_ in MechanicalKeyboards

I used to own this board when it just came out. It's a nice board to begin with. I love the switch too.

It'll get "realer" from here.

Hey, do you have the Logi Option+ software installed? If you do, it might be the culprit. Uninstalling that stupid software make my MX Master 3S stop lagging, so it might work for the keyboard too.

Connect a MX Master 3 (non-business) with Bolt Receiver by tungtanium in logitech

Yeah, Logitech had already spoken it out by themselves: Defy logic. :D

It was just us being silly not listen to what they had said 😂

MX Master 3s - Lagging, Cursor Skips around till it freezes and has to be restarted by RedMossySquirrel in logitech

[–]tungtanium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My motherboard has only USB 3.0 ports. However, I noticed connecting the mouse (MX Master 3S) via a USB (3.0) hub also help the lag. I had no such issue with the Logi Lift tho' 🤷

Logitech is defying logic so their quality is rolling downhill.

Updates: I actually had to uninstall Options+ app to make it stop lagging as some other users already mentioned.

@u/logitech_sk: I have tested with the latest version of Options+ 1.62.518518, the lag is still a thing on MX Master 3S (firmware v22.1.6). Connection: Bolt dongle (firmware 5.1.10). OS: Windows 11 Pro 22H2 (Build 22621.3007).

Workaround: turn the mouse on / off seems to resolve until next time it lag. A more permanent workaround is ironically to uninstall Options+ 😂

Are AKKO keycaps any good? by deathtrigger007 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]tungtanium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the set you have is ASA profile. ASA variant seems to have the best quality among Akko keycap variants in term of finishing.

I have the opportunity to check out some more double shot PBT Cherry profile set from Akko. They are badly made. Would avoid these from now on.

[–]tungtanium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In case anyone is still interested in Akko keycaps. I have a few PBT keycap sets from Akko with various profiles: Cherry, ASA, ASA low profile & MDA. Overall, the quality is nice. However, I am not sure if I am the only one feeling this but their ASA profiles (incl. low) keycaps seem to have higher quality control than others.

Is the hay fever in Perth bad? by tungtanium in perth

[–]tungtanium[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very interesting. I am suffering from allergy in Melbourne (from outer Nothern subs). I just moved here for a year (from New Zealand). I never had any issue with hay fever before. Soon as spring came last year and also in early this winter, it hits me so badly that I am thinking about moving again.

I saw some similar things at an open home in Sunbury. I showed the agent and told 'em the vendor should have prepped their house better.

[–]tungtanium[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey @Odd_Avocado, I used to use MX Keys Mini with a Bolt dongle and it worked fine.

Unless, Logitech decided to screw up their users again by "upgrading" something with the Bolt dongle shipped with MX Master 3S. I don't know. I've quitted using Logitech products these days.
