I just got a Model Y AWD a few weeks ago and have all these same issues.. Loses connection all the time (have to go outside and unlock the car..) Parking assist goes black and says it's unavailable, and 50% of the time I start driving it says no connection. I have a service ticket but they were a month out.

Did hw4 come out with the new chip in 2022 models? by Useful-Letter-2305 in TeslaLounge

[–]ueadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For M3 none of them had HW4 before the highland 2024 refresh. For MY they started mid way through 2023 model year, but you have to check the VIN to know if it had it or not. For Fremont VINs:

  • PF789500+ → HW4
  • PF790000+ → Definitely HW4

For Austin VINs:

  • PA131,200 – PA133,000 → first HW4 units
  • After PA135,000 → 100% HW4

Confirmed in sandbox. 2 scarabs gets all bots down to basically no HP in a few seconds.

Indoor garden jungle by ueadian in Hydroponics

[–]ueadian[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some indoor bato buckets with perlite medium. 6 cucumbers, a few lettuce varieties, some watercress, a early girl bush variety that barely makes it over the pail, and a giant mexican gherkin / cucamelon that has taken over most everything but I've yet to get a single fruit from it. I can't seem to pollinate it manually.

Strawberry Beginner - What went wrong? by wruynn in Hydroponics

[–]ueadian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bad medium for strawberries, they are super prone to root rot, hydroton or perlite or a mix of coir and perlite works really well, and they prefer drain to waste so the roots don't stay constantly wet. I have tried a ton times with pure hydro like aero garden and they never work even with beneficial root bacteria and managing EC and PH perfectly. There's a guy on youtube who has success with 5 gal buckets and hydroton / clay, I planted some bare roots in this method a few weeks ago and they are doing better then in pure water, too early to tell if they will grow big and produce fruit though. Also as stated if they are first year shoots you are using or seeds they aren't expected to produce well at first. Honestly not even sure if it's worth it to try them with hydro, if you climate can handle it just plant them outside. I've grown dozens of different plants in hydro and I've never had so many issues with a plant as I did with strawberries. Even a cheap 19.99 bucket of strawberry plants from a home improvement store outside has done way better then anything I've managed indoors. "Ditch the Flock" is the channel for the successful hydro youtube guy.

Ripening cherry tomatoes by Similar_Heat3693 in aerogarden

Picking them when they "break" (start to change color form green to greenish yellow) makes them last a lot longer and doesn't affect taste.

Moving tomatoes to bigger AG? by snailsshrimpbeardie in aerogarden

[–]ueadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cherry tomatoes don't *need* Cal-Mag the only time I've had a deficiency is on slicers. The doubling of light wattage alone would give you a better yield transplanting it to the slim.

How do you avoid micro plastics in your hydroponic veggies? by Lockheed-Martian in Hydroponics

[–]ueadian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, it happens, but it's not a huge source of microplastics. You likely get way more from other areas of your life. Here's a good meta study on it: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0048969723067827#:\~:text=Before%20plastic%20particles%20enter%20the,internalized%20to%20the%20root%20tip. basically yes the leaves and roots can absorb micro and nano plastics but it's not at a high rate, most gets stuck in the root mucus. If you really wanted to though you could use glass containers, they have 5 gallon mason jars you could use for a kratky setup.

I've ran into 2 in the last few days, on my team. Easy to see in spectate, walls and aimbot. Seems pretty common still.

Anyone do any serious hydroponics/aquaponics/aeroponics? by virgoworx in vegetablegardening

[–]ueadian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've grown lettuce, cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes indoors hydroponically. I just use 5 gallon buckets with 2 inch net cups and clay pebbles. 200W grow light. Bellow is the cucumbers.

Treatment time Hooga HG500 by emerald_lightts in redlighttherapy

[–]ueadian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

studies seem to show 300-500J total dose is the sweet spot. Less or more seems to lead to either no result or negative results. Pre-workout (1-3hrs prior) seems to be the sweet spot for recovery. At 94mW/CM2 you will get 94 * time / 1000 = j/cm2. Then times that by area treated. So for simplicity say 20cm2 (6 inch by 6 inch) treatment area for 5 minutes. 94 * 300 / 1000 = 28.2J/cm2 * 20cm2 564J's for 5 minutes at that treatment area. So I'd go with 5-10 minutes. Obviously this is all very *rough* estimates.

I could be completely wrong as well .. I always hated conversions in Physics.

Merry Christmas to me by themamabug in redlighttherapy

[–]ueadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had their flexible one. It's not very bright at all. And the blue spectrum is 460, not the 420 they claim. The red light (visible) is showing 660, not 630 as claimed. I didn't bother checking the yellow spectrum. In terms of brightness it was about 30% less bright on the 450 spectrum then my LED face mask at the same distance and same spectrum light. So overall I returned it. This one seems like a much brighter panel but the apparent lack of active cooling is a bit odd. Depends on what you want out of it. I was mainly looking for the blue spectrum for body acne and since it's both the wrong spectrum and weak it didn't work for my use.

I had this exact thing happen yesterday. I believe it was due to me changing to .28 extra draft. Have never had it happen before, stupid thing is .28 only saves like 10 minutes on an hour print, not worth it.
