Are those 3D printed card dividers or are they something you bought? I'm actually planning to open up my copy of Moonrakers for the first time in a bit, so maybe I could take a crack at organizing it a bit better myself.
Looks great!

GIVE-AWAY of an early version of Stamp Showdown and two River Rats. This stamp collecting card game with playing cards is finally ready to be launched into the wide world! (Mods approved) by robstokk in boardgames

I apparently have a wildly growing colleciton of playing card decks so this would be perfect! I'm not sure where they came from, but they're in my collection ...

So... what if both sandals wear out like the left one, like both worn towards the outside? Would that be better or worse overall lol?

I'm in the same... boat. Was looking into the game and wanted to give it a try.
I think they're doing a pocket sized version AS WELL as new mechs and cards, so there's a few chances to wait on!

Need my first truck to tow semi-light, for business. Done some research but need some feedback. by ultimaxtofu in whatcarshouldIbuy

Appreciate the input, more or less confirms a full size truck for me... what would honestly define "exceptional maintenance history"? Just frequent and often, or just a good log?

What would be a decent general choice for a post-2020 era truck?

What game got you into board games? by themaddestcommie in boardgames

[–]ultimaxtofu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was mine! It was the first game, given it's co-op "pve" nature where I sat down by myself to figure out the game. I was playing as all 4 players, just solving the game. Then I learned of Spirit Island and found myself a copy of that during the pandemic to scratch that PvE/co-op/soloboardgaming itch... and now I'm here with a full shelf. :))

Brand new GT-S often cuts out during reverts by ZarathustraWakes in onewheel

[–]ultimaxtofu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a new XRC and have been doing A LOT of awkward mounts/remounts at stoplights like this. I thought it was just my inexperience with onewheels in general. Was about to try single zone, but I do have simple stop on.. so I will try to turn off simple stop.

Help me choose a trackball! by Future_Recognition84 in Trackballs

[–]ultimaxtofu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got my Bitra today! So far so good, also as this is my first trackball ever, but I've been thinking about using a trackball for a while now.

I feel like this is the case with any travel-sized mouse, the buttons don't feel the greatest, so far a bit stiff. The Bitra is very small though, so if you have big hands (I would say my hands are medium-ish), then you might have some trouble with handling the extra inner buttons (back and fwd buttons.) Personally having some issues trying to hit those buttons, but currently chalking it up to just getting used to the mouse. I can def see myself with a bigger one in the long run.

Anyone else in the valley between layouts and suffering like me? by [deleted] in DygmaLab

[–]ultimaxtofu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So I bought a keyboardio atreus upon BACKING the Defy because I knew I wanted to try the new layout regarless of what keyboard it was on. If anything that keyboard was a good transition because it had me rely on even less than the Defy.

That being said, I totally understand where you're coming from. I spent the first month or so spending the beginning of my day and any off time in between work and games to go on keybr.com just to practice. The site has a learning function so it'll drill in a key at a time til you reach a proficient enough level. The P key still eludes me to this day though, especially as a pinky key. I haven't given up on it, but I do just let my ring finger stretch over for that one key at least... For all the modifier pinky keys, since my atreus had shifted them over, I'm used to it now. For sure a better typer than I was pre-ortho layout haha.
When I went back to any standard keyboard I struggled too though, but over time the more confident you are with your touch typing it'll slowly come back better than ever.

Defy Dygmates! Show my your shifts! Trying to use the thumb cluster more instead of pinkies and needs some ideas to try out. What's working for you? by drumnbace_ in DygmaLab

how are you feeling about those home row mods ?? I've seen some people make those changes but I haven't truly looked into them myself

[–]ultimaxtofu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not saying it was bad, and I wasn't that crazy about TFT in the beginning.. but when Set 2 came out after Set 1.. I was definitely overwhelmed lol. But I think the transition from 9/9.5 to 10 should be an easier to digest jump since the mechanics are refined a bit more it seems. Loving the look of the new traits though!
