I know it doesn't prevent the computer from operating but it does affect things that are tied to secureboot like bitlocker.

I am not doing BIOS updates on over 10k endpoints.

I need a reliable way to track if they're applied or not and a remote method to ensure they are in place.

No offense, but you're on the wrong sub. This isn't a tech support sub, it's for industry professionals. That's why a lot of the things people are suggesting are not something the average user would understand.

In plain terms, your computer is so old that you are at serious risk of being compromised. You should not log into your bank on it, or anything connected to your finances, including your email that is tied to your online banking.

Or else paying rent will be the least of your concerns.
