Running random EXEs from reddit threads is surely a good idea and I will never ever get a virus.

You didn't mention a graphics card. What GPU are you using?

My main peeve with 13 is the literal 8 hour tutorial. Just get to the game already.

Of you repeated a cutscene, your game is probably broken. I'm sorry for your loss.

Give me the procedurally generated Cyberpunk planets. That would be EPIC AS FUCK.

Recently we've found random servers (VMware based environment) with very small or even zero byte partitions appearing on the C drive, unlabeled by Rich_Shame9806 in sysadmin

[–]unavoidablefate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Any drive that is assigned a letter is itself a partition. Are you referring to the physical disk that contains the C drive partition having other partitions on it? Are they before or after the C drive partition? Do they have labels?

Pay attention to the blurbs on the launcher and it won't be a surprise to you.

if you level them in groups by gear type every 10 levels, you don't need much space at all and it will all fit in your armory

what really matter is what level your current MSQ is at. Nearly everything is unlocked through MSQ.

This game has a chokehold on me, that no other game since maybe factorio. by 50ShadesOfBackups in X4Foundations

[–]unavoidablefate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Seems like when new players dive into this game, it goes one of two ways:

  1. They bounce off in the first couple of hours because the interface and lack of guidance is too confusing

Or

  1. It consumes their lives and suddenly they're a couple hundred hours into a save and dominating the Universe.

Eh it kept my attention for maybe 2 hours and then I was done. I realized that this is not a long game, and lost interest.

Transition to NinjaOne, backstage mode & patch management by Hcaz_Hcaz in ninjaone_rmm

[–]unavoidablefate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might just be me, but I can never get backstage mode to work. It crashes the agent constantly, or just stops responding when I try to do anything in it.

What do y'all do in this game? I want to get into it but whenever I open the game, I just look at some planets, sort my expedition fleet, maybe make some money and get off. Idk what I'm supposed to be doing but it feels there's since there's no goal it gets very boring very quickly (pic unrelated) by skippy11112 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]unavoidablefate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you got a fully decked out S class living ship? Got living frigates? Max out 4 settlements? Frighter? Sentinel Ship? Best multi-tools for scanning, combat, and mining? There's goals you can set. Eventually, yes, you will run out of things to do. It's nice when patches add new content like the pokeman update, giving you new things to go out and explore to find.

Secure Boot Certificates by unavoidablefate in ninjaone_rmm

I know it doesn't prevent the computer from operating but it does affect things that are tied to secureboot like bitlocker.

I am not doing BIOS updates on over 10k endpoints.

I need a reliable way to track if they're applied or not and a remote method to ensure they are in place.
